Savor the flavor Rere. A force like Kenny Rogers only happens once and a great while. Your reaction to the song is absolutely beautiful. The words sung are words every woman wants to hear spoken to them about them. And every man should want to aspire to utter. As to why guys are not singing like this anymore is purely generational. But as long as beautiful and loving women like yourself desire for this it will always be around and strong. Thank you for this video. It's just so beautiful to watch your reactions to the emotional roller-coaster this song took your heart and soul through. RIP to a true legend and icon Kenny Rogers.

The official music video for the song “Faithfully”, the live from Houston performance of the song “Open Arms” and the song “When You Love a Woman” are extremely popular videos of theirs! Men don’t sing like this because our modern concepts of men and women l’s relationships has changed. Same reason women don’t sing about putting their man on a pedestal. You’re right, it’s sad. Beautiful song. It was a different era.

@rickwelch8464
@rickwelch8464 2 ай бұрын
@@jeffreiland7463 And vice versa. It's navigating a whole new world where women can actually make choices. Some men have decided that it's easier to get women by "negging" them, or ignoring them on purpose, or acting as if they themselves are the ones to be chased. Hence, we have a generation of boys and bros who think this is the way to go. Women aren't courted anymore, so they now make it just as transactional as the boys do and the boys don't like it.

Your being butt hurt about it sure says a lot about you though, kid. 🤠 ... yes , yes, yes ReRe. You made it to Kenny Rogers. Kenny is considered a crossover artist because most of his tunes were played on Country Music stations. His songs were so popular that they transferred over to pop music stations. Kenny sang quite a few duets with Dolly Parton , like "Islands In The Stream". I would like you to check out "You Decorated My Life" by Kenny Rogers. Bravo on this song selection .. I love Kenny's voice especially on "Lady". Country Music can be a very good thing for you. 🎼🎼🎼🌱🍀🌱🎼🎼🎼

Unfortunately, modern feminism is the reason. Today's men are too afraid to speak about women like that for fear of sounding sexist. To say someone is "my lady" offends a lot of women. That's why men don't hold doors for women as much as they used to for example.

I am forever amazed at the lack of ‘love’ in music these days. Especially from male artists. A romantic song is not something to hide or suppress. Yet … where is romance in our lives in general? And why has it been forgotten? It is very much an obligation .. I feel .. that a man has … to put a woman on a pedestal.

This may be unpopular, but I think the reason men don’t sing about women this way anymore is because the avg American woman (can only speak for the county I live in) don’t treat their men the same anymore to deserve/ellicit a song like this. In america women are taught how their man should treat them, and men and taught how they should treat women. What’s been lost is how a woman should treat her man. There’s a reason so many men over here are going overseas to find this songs sort of love. Just my two cents. I’m sure people will hate it but oh well I’m just being honest.
