Pro tip for people sorting by hand, bottom left hand is the number the card is in by set, if you sort by number it will automatically sort your cards by color, alphabetically (just uses a lot less brain power).

HI, my friend introduced me to your channel. I have a few questions as I just started watching.What is your tcg store name ? Where is your store located ? I like to get singles from you and support what you do.

Yo, I really like your videos because of how relevant they are to the average person trying to start a trading card business, even for the ones that end up failing. I have been buying MTG and Flesh and blood sealed for about 4 years now. I have amassed a collection around 200K-250K(90% sealed/10% singles). I really dont like the idea of starting a brick and mortar just due to the overhead but trying to find data to convince me otherwise. It also helps that I already have almost free labor with the help of teenage kids to sort through cards, list, ship etc lol. I am curious though, how much of your sales are instore versus online? How much revenue do you generate per month from running drafts? How many drafts and what kind do you run a month?

Thanks for enjoying the videos! That’s a large collection you got. Drafts are pretty much break even with prize support factored in so don’t think your going to make a killing off that, it’s just to get people in the door. I would say 20-30% of all sales happen online

Yea I hear you man, I just couldn’t justify it anymore.

I wonder if you put a large box over the sorting machine while it runs would help minimize the noise.

I’m about the make my first ROCA purchase for Yugioh bulk selling on tcg, with plans to go Direct once I use my 5,000 toploaders. I only sell on TCG, and can keep bulk coming in if I pay enough. Is the 3,000 count “Max” sorter ($33,000) a good investment compared to the base 1,000 count model? In my mind the manual ($23,000) consolidation process from running 3 1k sorts would be 3x as long as compared to 1 3k sort (sorted by set, then alphabetical) It seems like once it’s purchased, the only upkeep cost is the insurance, which is the same cost. I’m intending to post everything, even low end bulk, with a price floor, and not just sift out the stuff below a certain price floor. Sitting on 500k Yugioh bulk with more always coming Or maybe it’s not as hard as that for consolidating the sorts. I really want the 3,000 MAX sorter, but the base model may honestly be enough. Thoughts/things you learned from having one? Thanks for your time!

Also, can you please do a video on taking and editing the CSV to the upload process/re-pricing?

I've been able to use a Roca. I think it would mainly be worth the bigger hopper if you wouldn't be able to reload it as often. Otherwise you can just reload it every 2 hours and call it a day

Do you need to know a lot about most TCG to be able to run a LGS?

It helps but it’s not necessary. The community around the card game will be a big help to you and your business

@RNG-gamez, how do you sell your bulk?
@l.schaefer9274 Жыл бұрын
Honestly, the sorter is cheaper then a minimum wage employee in my state, so that would be well worth it for any sized store if you have a full times worth of sorting inventory.
@l.schaefer9274 Жыл бұрын
To justify this as a full 40-hour employee, you would need to crack 45 set booster boxes a week just to keep up with the machine. Might want this as your 2nd "employee", the first one will already be busy.
