Favorite movie today? Oh thats tough, there are a lot of movies that i have liked over the years tbh. I always found it hard to name just one favorite. I've always liked the star wars movies, pirates of the caribean movies, movies like inception, interstellar, i guess any story with a great adventure and thats told well by great actors. As for when i was a kid it definitely was either el dorado or spirit, those were literally my first and second movies as a child

I love this film (& I'm 25 years old!) It's not only one of my favourite animated films but also one of my favourite films, full stop! I don't understand why it apparently didn't do well at the box office. It has all the ingredients for a fantastic movie...great music & songs, beautiful animation, hilarious sense of humour & such loveable characters (Tulio will always be my ultimate 'animated crush'!!😍) I used to make sure this film was recorded every Christmas time but recently finally brought the DVD so now I can enjoy watching it anytime I want 😀 And if I ever have kids, this will be compulsory viewing! Hehe

This movie was far ahead of its time and came out way to early in an era where most of the public and critics were used to the Disney princes formula. Anything outside of that isn’t the norm. Which is why If the movie came out a couple of years later around 2010 or today it would do far better I bet!

I do like this movie my main issue with it is that there's this scene where the two are trying to prove that they're gods by "revealing their awesome power", so they go off to the side to have a private conversation and Miguel starts nagging Tolio to come up with a plan quicker and then this volcano in the background starts smoking and rumbling and everyone notices except for Miguel and Tolio who are still arguing and suddenly Tolio yells at Miguel to "STOP!" and I shit you not at that EXACT moment the volcano stops rumbling and the smoke that was coming out of it LITERALLY gets SUCKED BACK INTO THE VOLCANO doesn't dissipate, doesn't get blown away by the wind it just gets SUCKED back into the volcano and it NEVER explained WHY!!!
