Well if riven wasn't the killer, then why would riot constantly have them shown together in artworks, and their new skins? maybe yasuo's father was a noxian scout, or traveler that left to return to noxus, and they soon also made a babeh riven? Just speculation, though but it would explain the fact that he's the only ionian to grow more than a mustache on his face. Just speculation, though since there's no real proof of this besides the fact that they both (along with their player bases) have serious daddy issues

Here's the weird part: Yasuo uses a wind technique, but it's also wind magic. In game, yasuo is capable of doing Magic damage with his E. Riven's Runic Blade has some energy I'm not entirely sure of, but whether it's "magic" or not is ambiguous since Riven's kit is exclusively physical damage (she's the only female Melee champion like this, as Camille's Ult causes her attacks to do bonus Magic damage, possibly due to hextech's nature). What I'm trying to say is yasuo's techniques are some kind of magic, or at least he has some kind of innate magic like Jhin. Small details like this could mean nothing, but you never know.

Exiled Summoner the question remains who did it then if not riven? This character has enough skill to infiltrate an ionian base, must be in Ionia at that time and carries a blade of some sort. So this leads us to: yi__ but it can't be him bc he is a devoted ionian, and has no reason to do it. shen- ?? akali- ?? zed- he has shadow technique which pretty much resembles wind aaand drumrolls: Kata- possibly. It is mentioned in her lore that she was tasked with killing a general, and her techniques resemble wind techniques. I don't remember Kata's lore very much. Did i forgot a champ?

He can copy everyones abilities right? It could be that when Sylas touched the master, you know what happened. I don't know if Sylas can steal techniques, but he CAN steal Yasuo's technique.
