Icelandic Strongman and Rogue Athlete Hafthor Bjornsson is setting his sights on a singular target this winter - the 2017 Arnold Strongman Classic in Columbus, OH. Bjornsson has yet to make the podium of the contest in the five years he's competed, and that's what drives him in training. "This year, I'm more dedicated than ever before," he said.

not really my 4k monitor is alot better than the 1440p monitor and the 1080p I had before that.... Call it a gimmick. That's like saying it car with 100 or 200 horsepower doesn't matter since the increase in power is just a gimmick to sell more/more expensive engines

in reality, Bjornsson is not that adorable...he can be evil, I've read some stuff about how he treated some girlfriends....Brian Shaw is a really adorable humble strongman but Bjornsson is more like a viking, quite intimidating appearance in my opinion...

Joseph Song wouldn't be to sure about that. shaw only has to big competitions a year (arnold's and wsm) since he is not from europe and can't participate in esm. so he doesn't have that many opportunities to win anything. and he can make a lot more money from sponsors than on wsm.

Bjornsson is not that nice, but Shaw is a very peaceful man I'm pretty sure...in my opinion of all the strongmen, most of them are really nice but considering the strongest, I think Savickas and Shaw are really nice as well as Kielzkowski and Lalas and maybe Pritchett, but Bjornsson and Hall are intimidating....Shaw and Savickas are like nice bears, Hall the beast and Bjornsson the viking....

Derptrollz it's only motivation if it keeps you going. If you don't have a clear purpose, reasons, priorities, and goals all the motivation won't help. You need a context in which to thrive. Athletes train and compete, that's their context. What's yours?
