Maya what she did by washing your feet, is a sign of the love our people have for the work you are doing. Please remember what she said, whe she said we are lost children of the motherland. It meant a lot to us from that Island. Africa is our home by lineage but never set foot on the soil. The motherland must never forget us.

This is well said. It speaks volumes that one of us, straight out of Africa, has crossed the Atlantic into the Caribbean to send this message of belonging. Luke 7 :44- unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with hears, and wiped them with the hairs Ther head. 45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. 46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. 47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. 48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

Miss Trud y. you said you do not drink water when you are traveling because of toilet facilities issue. Just a little advice. If you do not drink water you will develop kidney problems along with other dehydration issue. Just take a few sips every half hour. Do not gulp a lot at time that way your cells with take up the water. But if you drink a lot you will have to pee. So forget the soft drinks because they cause health problems. Sip away but sip water. Blessings.

That washing his feet was honour, blessing. The hair of a nazarite is holy before the lord in old testament. Many rasta view the hair as a physical representation of a covenant. The longer the hair the longer the humbling yourself before almighty God. Just like the woman humble herself and washed jesus foot maya is so well respected this woman use her own hair. The hair is usually something they dony even allow many people to touch so her doing that is high high honour blessing respect reverence for what he stands for aligning with her entire lestyle choice that permeates her everyday choices. Mama Africa! Jamaica loves you. During the Atlantic Slave Trade it was easy for our Colonizers to ship us to the Caribbean and elsewhere. Now it is so difficult for Africans to travel to the Caribbean. Although Kenyans does not require Visa for Jamaica, it is still very difficult as there are so much red tapes. They still can't link a direct flight for us to connect to our people. Instead, you have to travel to Brazil, Panama and other places to get to Jamaica. Africa and the Caribbean should be a better connection. Hope it will get better, but I doubt it 🇯🇲 🇯🇲 🇯🇲
