How does the Project M attach to the top of your box? Do they need to drill holes or just use clamps? I’d like to avoid drilling holes if possible, since I wish to sometimes remove the Project M.

Wow! They don't set up your electricity? I heard from another client, and they don't even seal the camper from dust intrusion. I would definitely pass on this option, and get better customer service! Thanks for this video. I will definitely avoid this bare bones option. So glad I saw this. Appreciate your video for keeping me from making a mistake!!!

If you order their power package, it will be all wired. I chose to do it this way as I am able to use my own electronics and build it the way I wanted. I am very happy with this camper.

The Project M itself does not have an issue with dust, the issue is the truck bed itself which is not designed to be airtight. I don't know of any truck topper manufacture that will seal your truck bed for you and this issue will be present on any shell, bed cover etc. It's also pretty easily solved with some aftermarket weatherstripping around the tailgate and sealing up the seams in the floor. I'm guessing you haven't done much research on truck toppers, but it's not a reason to knock FWC. We also chose not to go with the FWC power system, and having it prewired so I can install a system of my choosing is a huge benefit.

A guy had a problem,on a forum,..getting thru to customer service- many responded ,that it couldn’t be o purpose- because their customer service is great, - I’ve never seen that b4 ! Say what you want about the product- but the company,and service seems to be,well,to have very loyal customers..unheard of today- I was impressed !

The longer I think about it the more the Project M checks all the boxes. It would be nice if the sides opened but not necessary.

I got 13-14 mpg when I got the Project M installed. After I installed the front bumper and winch and built out the rear interior, I am now at 11-12mpg
