Ross is awesome and non-nonsense. I appreciate his reviews above all. I usually can't wait to see his review of a car I like.

I didn’t buy mine to take it off road. I bought it for its styling, it’s nimble turning radius, smooth ride, driver space, and it sits really high.

Good review. Very nice truck, my neighbor just got his last week and I like it. I think it is pathetic that you can get a panoramic roof on a $40,000 Jeep, but you can't get it on a $90,000 Range Rover or $80,000 Escalade.

Nice and clear review about the new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, I love the new design except the type of wheels shown in this model don't belong with the Overland version. Just an observation. =)

i find this car pretty attractive, in terms of price in relation to the package in any guise(limited or overland). i know comparing this to a Cayenne will be not reasonable. but which one will you recommand of the two? v8's hemi or Cayenne S? i am so hurt when i see how cheap this car is compare to the Cayenne S....
@kastro8113 жыл бұрын
Good review!! Informative and to the point!!
@timmy23apsb13 жыл бұрын
@majabubloem it depends how long you want to keep your car. if you are looking to keep your car for over 5 years, i would recommend going with the jeep. maintenance, insurance, etc. is much cheaper over the long run. Porsche maintenance/repairs are pretty stiff especially when your car is out of warranty. But it also depends on what your personal preferences are and what you want out of the vehicle, as the two are quite different.

Which is better? 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit v6 or a 2012 Land Rover Evoque. Looking at buying one of the 2 in the near future. The Land Rover Evoque prestige model (almost $58,000) I built online is about $10,000 more than the Jeep I built. Leaning toward the Jeep. $10,000 is quite a bit plus the Jeep has a better warranty!

I agree, nothing wrong with Ross but I prefer Jessi. Her reviews flow so well and I like her attitude she's also pretty to look at. No offense Ross. lol Great review none the less. I'd get one of these in a Diesel maybe. I do like they are made in the USA or so they claim. Is there going to be a SRT version or some sort of high performance edition as well to keep up with European counterparts.
@flatblackstrat13 жыл бұрын
@RinKami Yeah I agree. His statement itself is totally incorrect as well. Most people never buy the Grand Cherokee for it's off-road capability. The most off-roading 95% of Cherokees will see is a dirt road in the suburbs. They buy it for its styling and 4 wheel drive. When you're from Michigan like me and you grew up 10 minutes from the Chrysler tech building you see tons of these things doing nothing more than moving a soccer moms ass to the mall. None the less this car is freakin sweet.

@Bryanpowman Not trying to be an ass, but isn't it an I6 or L6 (straight) not a V6? Still pretty impressive numbers coming form a 3.6 @ 290 HP 280 ft lb trq where as my 95 GC Limited 5.2 V8 @ 225 HP @ 300 ft lbs trq. MPG isn't too bad though I may avg 15 mpg between hwy/city.

Since Fiat got involved with Chrysler the quality of their cars has really improved. Mostly the interior of the vehicles, for example the Jeep Wrangler's interior has vastly improved. But they still ahve a long way to go as does GM. In my opinion American made cars dont really compare to the other import car makers; Toyota, Honda, etc. Not only in quality but also in looks. Ford is the only american car company that is making great quality cars and is well managed.

Get a life dude if any copying was done it was by bmw when they owned the company so the could perfect the x5.What jeep did here is listen to what jeep owners wanted in there suv. this is the end product.I own one of the best suv's on the planet the defender 90 and it's awesome. range rover sport can't touch it. this jeep however is the best so far in the grand cherokee line. And for the record get the hemi it's the best part of this car.
