Nice to these in a compilation video. I realise that though I dont have coaching or spend a lot of time doing the exercises, I have made enough progress to build on. I need to carry on with the little I am doing till I am stronger to try some of the advanced holds and exercises. Thanks for the video Lee.

One aspect I have found to be true my whole life: If it isn’t fun, exciting and supplies a feeling of accomplishment, the feelings of disinterest are as defeating as any major injury. If your workout isn’t something you look forward to, you’re probably wasting your time.

Even though I tried not to overdo it, I was so weak that I overdid it physically trying to get back in shape a month or so ago so now I'm dealing with plantar fascitis. Not fun but I'm not giving up. I pulled my groin today but instead of complaining about it. I simply looked at it as opportunity to be uncommon and keep working. I did core stability work. Stretched and loosened my back up. Then added a hip band circle band to strengthen weak links and add support when I walk around. I’m still going for daily walks to keep my blood flowing and recover as soon as possible. My question is should I completely stop training or is my approach at this situation good?

Hi Lee. I have a question. I do BJJ and I'm just looking for a kind of overall program, or maybe a recommendation about which program I should use, or maybe just how I get started with your system. I see a lot of "don't do this, do this instead," and those vids really sell me on your ideas. However , I'm just looking for a nutshell approach as I already invest a lot of time watching video. Can you help please?
@LeeWeiland2 жыл бұрын
yep, get a coach
@harleyslocum9172 жыл бұрын
@@LeeWeiland ok. Where do I find one? Like, where do I look in the yellow pages? Powerbatics trainer? Also, that's kinda a big ask. It's gonna require time and money. I might have the money but I'm already training 15 plus hours a week. Most people that view your stuff and want to start learning, are not going to go out and get a trainer. Probably about 95 percent. What would you say to those people? Are they just out of luck, entirely unable to get any benefit from your ideas?
@LeeWeiland2 жыл бұрын
@@harleyslocum917 Correct. 95% don't take action. Brutal statistics for humanity. There's the 1% that have that unique "Good Will Hunting" mentality that can take a video series or a book and reverse engineer the whole thing. But you're right...it's the "wide gate vs narrow gate" principle. However, anybody COULD do whatever they want. They could invest in a coach, develop discipline & focus, build advanced level strength, etc etc. My biggest recommendation is get off social media and get connected with people, teachers, peers who are going the direction you want to go. Pretty simple. Take care.

Can your program be modified for shoulder injuries? I have 2 rear delt injuries that haven't healed in 2 years. Sleeping on sides makes arms fall asleep due to nerve problem i have been told.
