I got myself a Richa Titan 2.0 Hoodie, it's great and the best part is apart from the material obviously not providing as much rigidity to limbs as a leather jacket does, there really is barely any sacrifice in protection. That hoodie comes straight with all around D3O armor, the same type in regular ADV jackets, and a kevlar equivalent liner in all the important zones. It's very very comfy, even more than some regular hoodies, obviously not waterproof whatsoever. As long as it's warm enough it's become my go-to top as I don't feel I sacrifice protection compared to some of the other "armoured" hoodies like the Alpinestars Chrome sport which has basically a 3mm thick foam insert for armor...

The original Roadskin hoodie is a monster, double-skinned with Maximite and roadskin denim. I love mine. It'll be interesting to see how much of a different thing this version is.

Thank you!! I believe it's normally down to the abrasion resistance level. I.e. how long it would survive in a slide. If I remember rightly, it's very expensive to get the AAA rating test done so Roadskin only got the AA cert for this jacket to see how it was received. If it's a reputable company, I wouldn't worry tooooo much as long as it has armour and at least a AA rating! Thank you for watching and glad I'm not the only one who rambles ha

Just watched it now...after 4 months from when this was released. You have mentioned that the hoodie have 2 inner pockets and 2 outer. I've bought my hoodie 2.0 in November 2022 at NEC and either I am blind, or haven't got the inner pockets. It seems they've slightly changed the design for better. I love the vids, keep up the good work. PS. Stirling corner and Apex corner queues are super tight to filter through, I utterly hate this bit.

i really like some of these type hoodies, but one feature i'm constantly looking for is a 2 way front zipper....sometimes it can get hard to find that.....

Great review buddy. I am after a summer hoodie but not sure if this will be too warm 🤔. What do you reckon mate ?. I see roadskin now do a AA rated shirt that looks really nice. Also how does the black withstand the sun. Have you noticed any fading at all ?. Many thanks 🤘

Thank you! It's a very good jacket for the mid temps. I've not worn it in any super hot temps mainly because it's the UK so rarely gets about 35c but it was comfortable in the mid 20s. Not noticed any fading at all!

@@SamVBikes the bonus is that I have plenty of old kit to shrink down to, if I can, the negative is it cost a fortune to keep buying bigger! 😂 Some of my kit is so old that I have Rukka gear from the 1990's to hopefully grow back into. It is totally waterproof but not breathable so only good for cold weather, and Scottish summers 😂

Nice comfortable jacket (I rode all around France in it). You find yourself wearing it most of the time. Big negative though is zero waterproofing, and over the thumb sleeve ends are poor quality. I’ll still wear in dry weather (mesh jacket obviously comes out on hottest days), but have an over jacket ready just in case.

Yeah its a very easy jacket to pick up and throw on isn't it! Mines been decent in most rain but I'd assume if it was heavy it would start to seap through. I always feel damp but never am!

My chest is 43 inch but my waist is 34w but thats cause mcdonalds is too tempting for me, I find jackets fit alright in the large for me but I have to loosen the straps on the bottom of the jacket.
