I am a at least a 35 year resident of MI. From the Grand Rapids area (okay, mainly southeastern area). Went to grade school, junior high (that should date me), high school in that area; and 6 years of university at Michigan Tech. In all that time I never heard it pronounced “Raymen 7:24 ”. Remember that I spent a long time on a college student’s budget so I ate a lot of those little packets of noodles. I the 35 years outside of MI I’ve heard the name some times but I’ve have always taken a beat before I could translate that to Ramen. So, I’m a little confused by the pronunciation also. I am a late comer to the channel. I started just after POE showed up. But I love the channel. Or as some Michiganders would say “Ya hey, you betcha. All love Blue.

I was up there a few weeks ago. There's a campground on the east side of the road just past the Arctic Circle sign. I don't know if it's still open. The last time I was there they plowed it. It was awesome.

This is the 1st time finally she re acted to noises behind her. She carelessly just seems obviously to dangers. Like Polar bears see people as a food source, and that all bears don't stay asleep during hibernation. Also angry Moose can really hurt or kill her. I'm glad she has a need 4 adventure but she should mention in her videos that there r dangers. Even her DAD told her to be aware of her surroundings!!! Don't forget her told her!!! Also camping alone ur just increasing ur odds of failure. Plus the one thing that lures bears are food scents!!! Get bear aware, please. I could see if she was raised in Alaska tundra, but thus pretending to be like she said"preferred blonde" needs to stop laughing at everything. I know she's got smarts, start using them. 😊

Hi Maria! It's always a good thing to keep bear spray on your hip in the woods. And to make noise at intervals. Bear get really pissed when they're surprised. To avoid a winter campfire from sputtering out it's best to remove most of the snow from ring. Have lots of fun and stay safe! Long time viewer from Montana USA.

I've been watching for a while now! like 2 months. But I binge watched and absolutely love your videos. I feel like I have been wanting to do this since I was 15, and that feeling has yet to go away. I'm a huge fan of the pup, been working canines for a while... in both Iraq and Afghanistan... still doing it till this day. They are the perfect companion. Way better than people for sure. Probably why I'm on my 5th year now as a contractor. I saw your video when Blue was getting treated, and I was heartbroken. Lost the first pup I ever deployed with, Afghanistan in 2009. He was retired in 2013 for severe PTSD and I adopted him. Best pup I ever had. Died from cancer in 2019. Keep doing what you're doing beautiful woman! You're actually motivating a man to start his journey... mine will be with my shepherd that I've been with for the past 5 years in Iraq.... He is ready to travel and so am I, spiritual is what I'm looking for. God bless you and Blue. I will be on the lookout for your stickers. 😁

I'm sorry but I need to be brutally honest here: Maria, on this arctic trip you are being incredibly reckless and it is painful and cringe and difficult to watch at times. Embarking on this trip during winter without a working heater, driving up to the arctic circle without a working fuel gauge, continually running your jetboil indoor...Maria as a viewer, if feels like you are taking some silly risks and are putting yourself in dangerous situations. I tried saying the same thing. If something bad happens it will be 1 frozen ice sickle. The dog might survive. Aussies have 2 layers of fur but not in this weather. I live in Michigan and have booties for my dog during winter.

I’ve driven to the Arctic Ocean twice now in both Alaska and Canada. You’re doing great and having fun! Just for those who don’t know, you get your fuel topped off at every stop as there’s only a few spots to get it. You never complain about the prices to the proprietors, instead you thank them very much, tip the waitress’s and say “Thank you soo much! See you on my way back!”. You’re in the Arctic Circle Club now! Have fun Ria!

Anytime your planning on visiting such cold temps, start using diesel anti-gel or you risk your fuel gelling leaving you stranded. fuel gauge could be a loose wire at the tank sending unit or the unit itself shorting to ground. stay safe, happy trails!

Just so that you know those Propane Gas canisters doesnt work well when they are COLD!!! Either keep it warmer nearer the heater of your Landy (truck) or put the cannister inside your coat until it warms up then the gas vaporizes better & you can light it... other than that you will need a different cooking system. Its better to have another cook stove as a back up before you head into extreme cold. Good luck on you travels & stay safe...

Be careful camping near lakes and rivers in the Yukon. Especially with Blue around. Wolves would probably pay you no attention but adding Blue to the mix will make them curious. Getting in the truck at dark was a good idea. They probably would have stayed away from your fire but better safe than sorry.

Many years ago I used t throw stones for my dog and by the time he was 7 years old his canines were half worn. Once I realised, I changed to a ball, but he was addicted to stones. Maria, I was saddened to hear of Blue's cancer diagnosis. I just want to wish both of you well. No two human/doggie experiences are alike. We do, however, share this experience. One of my Maltese (Molly) was diagnosed with lymphoma when she was ten. We started her on chemo immediately. She tolerated the medicine well...for the most part. She, too, went on hunger strikes and got a bit ill from time to time...but we managed ok. We knew what ultimately would happen to her, but we shared two years during and following her treatments. I was so lucky that she remained healthy until the time came when the cancer really took hold. It was difficult, but I look back on those wonderful times we were able to share. The unfortunate thing is that lymphoma is quite a common situation dogs and their owners face. I do wish both of you well and know that you are NOT alone. Love and peace to you guys...Roger

A light dusting of silicone spray or thin film of silicone grease on your door seals will help with them freezing shut.

One good suggestion is to install the spare wheel behind the rear door using a rear wheel carrier. This will reduce the weight on the bonnet and you have better view in front when driving. I really enjoyed your videos and look forward to every episode of you and Blue.

Those are the best kinds of dinner it's called campfire dinners and you put everything inside the aluminum foil cover it up and put it on the fire! I usually put meat and a potato and a veggie and onions wrap it up in foil and stick it on the fire it is amazing and there's no mess
