Perfect setup. Very compact tent / gas on top. You can make shade around. And still can't better that space. A jimmy that sips gas and it 4 wheel drive you can go very deep in the bush . and it light so if you get stuck you can easily get out. If you could get wonderful better front seat even better.
One of the best videos I've watched regarding holiday camping, campfire cooking. Thanks a lot 👍

Loving your vids and am also from SA (Mossel Bay), got myself a mitsubishi triton double cab, but is not a 4x4, still wanna rig it up for overlanding though. One suggestion I would like to make is with your cooking... Spend some more time showing us what you making and how you prepping it. As you know a big part of camping is the food. So take your time and do a "cook show" style segment in your videos. Really elaborate and talk about the spices and cooking methods you use etc. Keep up the good work guys.

Looking at options for a roof tent on a Jimmy build. It goes without saying no matter what roof the tents on it's gonna act very similar, however how do you find the very loose suspension of the jimny when sleeping? I.e turning over in your sleep, does the car support the weight without to much rumble? Also how do you find since being in the rain would you recommend being in a clearing or having some kind of wind break? Trees, rocks etc... Great video again my man.
@RoamOverlanding4 жыл бұрын
Hey bud! So I have quite a hard suspension on my vehicle so it handles quite well when we are sleeping and doesn’t blow around much in the wind. You have to be in really heavy wind for it to shake the vehicle. If you’re in a very rainy area, then the tent like the Eezi Awn Jazz, has a bigger rain sheet, maybe it will perform abit better, In wet weather, but the Series 3 is no slouch.
@ruukusanla4 жыл бұрын
@@RoamOverlanding great! Thanks for the info. I'm not a big guy but I roll alot and I would be upgrading the suspension but just the stock I've seen people bobble around in them and I was just like, oh god sleeping on it would be like a water bed..hahaha. Keep on enjoying the journey, safe travels.
