Never heard of pacific Kombu before. Always loved burned food though looks super healthy. Thank you for sharing. I tried papto chips cooked in coconut oil after I saw one of your previous videos they were far better than when cooked in vegetable oil, plus could hardly taste the coconut oil. We cut our potato chips different here in UK we make them chunky. I recall you suggested Kale but not sure where to get that here in UK. May come across it another time.

Great to hear Steve! So happy you made the switch. So there is no kale in the UK? wow, that's weird. If you have a garden they grow very rapidly. Thanks for the comment brother!

I'm not the biggest fan of cruciferous vegetables except for broccoli but roasting them makes me have a whole different opinion of them. Instead of eating them just for the nutritional value I actually enjoy them. I can hardly stand cabbage, but if it's roasted I actually love it. I have been trying to think of some things to cook with avocado oil and roasted cabbage sounds like the perfect thing to pair with it. Thanks!

Yes Nikki, I'm with you! That's the point of this series. I'm always trying to find ways to make healthy food taste good, because if not, what's the point, right? Glad you're on board and thank you for the comment!

Hi there...just wondering if is not bad to eat a almost burned butter.... l always heard that would be full of free radicals...? Thanks
@Theartofunity8 жыл бұрын
The smoke point of butter is about 400F. It is not good to go past that, so yes it's better raw, but I have to run a balance of ways to get people to eat healthy and this works. Hope that helps. Thanks for the question.

So... the second method is basically bon appetit’s take on charred cabbage but without the oil and basil they did... welp.

Not sure what they did, it's not an original recipe. Hope you liked it.
