Ok, this is the first truck you've shown that i would outright offer to buy direct. I can't say enough how awesome this rig is. Everything we're striving to create is in this little package. Karnage, dude... You're killing it! I wish i had the talent to build like this. Anyone can slap together parts, like me, but this is art. @24yep Your reactions are priceless. Great work on the videos.

KRC is the king of a complete build, hands down, no compromises, only the best! As far as that motor goes thats exactly how my purple one acts. After talking with VT3K about motors and stuff (I don’t understand electronics) it seems to come down to that those are designed to have a balance of high speed and slow crawl, and the downside is the super low speed control in and coming out of FOC. The medio seems to just have less jump than the ROP. The solution I tried that helped the most was running under drive gears. 33% under drive in the rear makes it better, with my best results being 33% under drive front and 50% under drive in the rear (which is also the only use I’ve found for the X15 gears).
@ryanburke48593 ай бұрын
i found the same. I used the purple one in a super tiny and light build and it is just as smooth as a nanobam, I had it in something that weighed about 400g and it was undrivable. The underdrive is a good idea, but i wanted it for the extra wheel speed lol, just went 3s.
@johngardner68713 ай бұрын
I’m running a Mofo MVP with VT3K esc on 3s and could not be happier. Slow to fast and everything in between is nailed. The under drive gearing is also a help, with taller tires it all equals out and wheel speed is no issue.

Very nice and clean build! Only bad part is he must have 3d printed those tires out of ABS for drifting and not rock crawling by the lack of traction on a almost flat surface.😂

That's gotta be the most complete build you've roasted. I suggest you get and use a small tripod for when you film 4WS rigs. If the rig is capable of independent rear steer. Using those channel mixing modes do it a disservice. Those tires are the only thing holding this rig back. Throw on a set of 57mm Black Labels and do a short before you return it to KRC. Also utilize the 4WS to its full potential with independent input.
@MicroMittenCrew3 ай бұрын
The need for this rig is real. 😂😂 Unique in all its own ways. I love it. You did a killer job trying to show the 4WS by the way. I know how challenging it can be to try and film a solid looking line.

Man that thing looks great, an I have enjoyed watching him build it on IG. There are a couple of other tires in that height that probably look just as good but work better. It takes time to train your brain on how to best to use 4WS and it took me a while to get used to it. Sounds like you need to build one and give it a shot!

Truly an awesome rig - the details are very unique including the wireless light connector. I don't have that particular motor, but I have a couple pancake motors that are similar. They are power hungry motors that work best on 3S. Was it running a 2S battery? Also it appears that the tires were holding it back from being an otherwise awesome crawler. Props go out to Karnage RC.

I really like this build a lot!! 💯🤙🏾😎 As for the MOFO RC Medio brushless motor, it could be the ESC. I use custom Dinky ESC's and they're calibrated to the type and spec of the brushless motors I use.

I second this, it has to be the ESC that's causing issues.
