Man Nick, you brought back a flood of memories with this. For the first 5-6 minutes I watching this, I kept thinking "I feel like I've been here before", then when I saw that intersection with "The New York Plaza" sign that did it. 30+ years ago my father owned a building on the 600 block of East High Street. Our family left that area in the mid-1990's when my parents split up, and I've never been down that street since (never thought to Google Street View it, either). Pottstown was in pretty dire straits during that time, it was still reeling from the factory closures of the 1980's and had a pretty big crime issue (my father's building was broken into multiple times through the late 80's and early 90's, the police's best guess was by drug addicts looking to pawn things). It looks like since that time the area's undergone some major renovations (I still recognize the older buildings though), and it's cool to see all kinds of new businesses in there too. Thanks for uploading this, it was a pretty cool trip down memory lane for me.
