this takes me back to the bed in early summer. the nights were so sticky heavy but this song speaks to that early morning time when a chill set in and you'd pull the sheet over your body whilst your body feels the pull of the one next to you.

I saw him last night in Toronto, and I'd pay anything to see him again tonight. A fantastic performer! Tore up the audience as they sat there trying to find their dropped jaws, mine included. My fave CW tune too, on the earphones is the only way for me to go, with this, and all CW.

BRILLIANT & BAD-ASS. The saddest thing in the world (besides all the suffering and wars and what not), is that all kinds of sucky bands break-out huge and sell all kinds of records and the mighty Catherine Whell/Rob D. languish in relative obscurity. I've seen these guys in LA and SD like half a dozen times, and they/he are THE COOLEST!!!!!!!!

This is just ridiculously good. Also saw that '98 show at 9:30, and a '94(?) show at the old 9:30. I never expected they'd be as good as they were live. Rob is one of the best performers I've seen, right up there with Bob Mould.

Dancingmind, I know exactly what you are talking about, End of the World, that was the most memorable moment at a concert I have had. Not only my own feelings during the song, but when it ended that every other person there loved it too, and cheered for it...WOW WOW WOW. I have posted comments on Rob's "myspace" asking that very question about it's release.

I still love Mad Dog, a track that one of the more idiotic of the American music magazines singled out for a special critical mauling. I find similarities in its mood with Bowie's Fall Dog Bombs The Moon - another of my favourites.

This was before his Casbah show when he opened for someone I can't remember, and the line out in front was all for him. And so was I, right up front the stage. I even got a peck on the cheek after :) Glorious. His is music you hear and feel.

Yeah he is and i was Robs FRIEND thro high school and got asked around to meet BRUCE but I saw him in the lounge with some other band members at Robbies house,muttered Hello and got really stupidly shy!Rob was a really nice school friend who was quiet apart from the people he went round with but he hid his singing and MUSIC talent from us...tho he obviously always liked dad.Cant believe how talented he is.
