Well, thank you so much for saying that. Australia was a very nice place to visit. We just got done with our New Zealand portion of our trip. We are sailing into Auckland tomorrow. I’ll be putting together a video about New Zealand and I think you’ll see it’s a pretty nice country as well. I might also be doing another Rob and Patti on the Go - Food Review. I saw an advertisement for a special Kiwi product at McDonald’s. I hope I find it and am able to give it a try. It looks different than any McDonald’s sandwich I’ve ever eaten. I am pretty sure I am the luckiest guy on this planet. I get to travel to interesting places with somebody I really like. We could stay at home and go to local establishments around town, but as long as I’m physically able to get around and we still have our kid’s inheritance to spend, I’m going to choose to travel. We are glad we can share some of our adventures with other folks via KZbin.

That info board about the Koalas needing 20 hours sleep a day reminds me of my teenage years! Me and my cousin were going to ship our motorbikes to Philip Island a few years ago to do a track day there, but it never happened unfortunately. Looks like you guys are having a great time!

I have a nephew that is big time into track days around where I live. Road America in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin is a very nice track. He goes there every once in a while and does track days. When I told him I was going to be on Phillip Island, the first thing my brother and my nephew said to me was make sure you get to the track. They are big MotoGP fans. I wish the tour I was on would’ve actually given us more time at the track. I would’ve very much liked to explore it. Thank you so much for the super chat. I appreciate it, but it’s not necessary. Both of you are right about the "Vinegar" in wine thing. During most fermentation's with Saccharomyces strains used for wine production(most wine yeast strains), there's production of acetic acid(vinegar taste) and Ethyl Acetate(Nail polish remover taste), those are generally referred as "Volatile Acids" or "VA" in the wine world. "VA" appears in higher concentration with more oxidative ferments as the main culprit is usually "Acetobactor" - a bacteria that increases the amount dramatically. The taste thresholds vary by person and that's probably the reason why Patty couldn't tell and Rob probably could tell. So in essence, both of you are right. My favorite thing to do with high "VA" sparkling wine is mix it with an orange juice, it makes awesome mimosa clones.
