I am shocked. Rob sounded better here than I think he ever has. He usually sings horribly and out of breath.

That's not completely true i think. He has had breath control problems many times, in part because jumping and running the way he does and ashma are not good combination xd. But he has done good tours too, specially during his first solo tours, and during 2006-07 period.... On the other hand, his voice has changed with age, and some people doesn't like the change. Anyway, he has always been better frontman and performer than singer. His shows are usually funny and worthy even if his voice isn't completely on point. Another thing to mention is that he doesn't like playback or backing tracks.

As far as I know, the only prerecorded tracks they have are recorded voices from the horror film scenes included in the songs, and maybe some keyboard arrangements. So yes, maybe a keyboard player would be nice (in fact, I think he had one during his first tours as a solo artist). But guitars here are absolutely live in my opinion. His show is one of the "most live" shows you can find nowadays, especially in the industrial metal scene, where is imposible to sound like in studio without overdubbed sounds and added efects.
