I had hit a plateau. I had lost my passion. Rob, because of your lessons, Youve not only made it so simple to learn these things that other videos make hard to understand, but youve revived my passion for my instrument. I’ve been in a deep depression. And I’m recently emerging from it. Youve literally changed my life with your teaching. You’re a master teacher. The most respect man. You’re a legend to me now. You’re in my top 10 drummers of all time. Thank you, brother. You have no idea how much you’ve helped. Thank you. -Drew

When I set up my drums 2 months ago, I decided I was going to develop my hands once and for all. The first time I saw this, I was nowhere close to being able to play along. Today, after two months of practice, I was able to play along. Rob, you are so right about developing hands, it has made playing the kit so much easier, and I also recognize things like the 6 stroke roll when I’m listening to music. Such a game changer. Thanks for all these lessons.

Thanks Flamuel. Great exercise bud. Shout out to beginner and intermediates struggling to keep up to 73bpm or if struggling to even nail the rudiments. Do this: practice the rudiments without metronome until it's easy..Then try say 40 bpm or whatever suits and build from there. Over and out duders keep persevering.

I'm 63. I haven't played for like 4yrs but like u I've changed approach. I've started using traditional grip and just practice using economy of motion and effort. I'm using rebound more and don't need to be flashy or work hard. Just doing simple things cleanly and making it sound way better. Good luck bro

Rob, this is by far one of my favorite workouts of yours. I love the five stroke, triplet exercise that you do but this one really just flows and pumps you up through the whole exercise. I made the whole 20 minutes. I wasn’t worried about that but it just felt so good and I can just feel the strength and the flow happening cause I was adding little accents here and there just to make it interesting but man this is a beautiful exercise. Excellent job. Thank you so Much.

some of the easiest most fundamental rudiments such as these, allow us to build a vocabulary, that we may speak intelligently behind the drum kit. What i love to do with these is slow them down and that allows me to notice all the kinks in my hands, and therefore i am able to smoothe out the rough edges. Thank you Rob Beezey.

I started at 5 min and add 30 secs per day. I do this after a 30 min rudiment exercise (singles, doubles, paradiddles & 5 stroke rolls), so I am plenty warmed up. Thank you Rob! I will be sending a few buck for the groove, It's also good for doing Bonham Triplets practice on the kit, as I found out today.
