If the downpipe doesn't fit flip the turbo so the compressor housing is facing toward the driver side. Downpipe faces towards the transmission side and turn in and line up with the exhaust. That's why your o2 seams short.

Hey man. Some honest advice. You need a set of bigger injectors, 440cc-560cc (evo) should be enough for the current setup. a better flowing fuel pump is also recommended, and a chipped ecu along with some tuning. You could safely run 8-10psi then depending on your tuner. But don’t try to get on it like it is right now. Because it would just hit limp mode and lean out, eventually detonating your motor. Next upgrade would be a better clutch kit. Because this one is going to start slipping as soon as the car is tuned and making power. Good luck :)

I'm a minitrucker by heart. You and your boy remind me of me when I started building trucks 25 years ago. I had no clue what I was doing and no proper tools, but I got the trucks done. Couple of tips, don't worry about connecting either O2 sensor as they'll most likely be disabled while tuning anyways, instead get a wideband and use that spot in the downpipe for that to keep an eye on how it's running. Highly recommend a bit larger injectors then stock, to have some wiggle room, also don't know your location but e85 would definitely prolong the life of the setup along with the ability to safely make some more power (you can use some Huntertuned decapped chevy LS injectors and a simple walbro 255 if on a budget with leaving the rest of the fuel system stock). Talk to your tuner to see what they prefer tuning on, most people prefer Hondata S300, it's worth the investment in my experience. Besides that, build looks good so far!

@@ellisberry8747 really.....the mazda rx7 FD...the blue car...it has a newly bridgeported 13b-rew if I'm correct....and when its said "its being done so can only go to 4k rpm" that isn't true its just a break-in period so that the engine doesnt shit itself , after around 100 miles or more it can be good to 11k rpm but 4k is the limit the driver should get it to, to prevent causing any damage

Nice job guys. Looks really good. Really need to get an a/f gauge and oil pressure gauge. A/F will help keep an eye out for detonation and if oil evacuates turbo will pump it out super quick. (dont ask how I know this one lol) Looking forward to seeing the completion of the civic.

I have a 95 dx hatch. Put a cx racing turbo kit on it last january. Its a bone stock d15b7 that I tuned on crome and ive been running 10psi of boost on it for around 10,000miles and she's holding up perfectly. A couple of things though, ive been running open turbo with no filter, blow off valve delete plate, and open down pipe. Obviously its healthier for the turbo to have a blow off valve and a filter. But from experience I can say that my turbo has no dings on the compressor wheel, and no shaft play after driving for 10,000 plus miles. Also as far as the stock o2 sensor goes, if you get it chipped and tuned on crome just delete the sensor. As long as you have a wideband and tune it well theres no need for the stock sensor

Take the 02 sensor wire and some spare speaker cable, cut to wirez splice the speaker wire in as an extension and thisll work fine temporarily

An AFR Gauge would be a very important item for this build as well you want to stay around 14.7 to 1 or you can have some major issues later on

You can.run that vacuum line from the blow off valve to any vacuum source on the intake. Ditch that knockoff greddy blow off valve.mine from cf racing would open too late and then stay open too long.under full boost it would open and leak boost bad. I switched to an hks ssqv.so much better blow off valve, but not cheap.mine holds over 25psi, and opened reliably and fast. Plus the sound is nice. And if you are like me and the stock sound doesn't do it for you, you design your own insert😉

If you add a bunch of boost, get a Mobil1 oil filter.. Fram changed the way they make theirs and they use cardboard in their filters now.. You will end up crushing your filter if you build your motor right up

Love what you do Robbie, but the PCV (Valve cover breather as you say) will spit oil out into that filter, possibly blocking it or putting oil places you dont want it. I.E the exhaust. You should really run a Catch-Can and plumb it back into your intake (PRE-turbo side) :D

you dont need to replace the torque mounts, the stock mounts wont like the boost so just change them to solid mounts and delete the torque mounts.
