Hi Lee The bass preamps are still under development. We've made some great models from some really awesome bass amps but the preamp hardware needs some tweaking to get them perfect for bass. It'll be under wraps until they're ready :)

I have one of these three 002. Couple of things I have noticed: 1. They need careful tweaking to get the most out of them. 2. Really require 300mA from your power supply or the audio may cut out. 3. A little reverb always on either on your board or FOH will really help these sound the best with the inbuilt cabsim. 4. Changing channel happens when the switch clicks up, not down, so you have to take that into account. 5. Popping sound does not occur for me going direct (have not tried with an amp)

I now have the 005 and compared throughout a lot of VST, because I used to be a VST junkie. One great advantage of this pedal is that the latency is way below of what my pc kicks out latencywise, which already is at 10 ms at max. The thing is, you can't really hear the delay, but kind of feel it. It lacks a direct attack. This is most of solved by the pedal, which is a very cool thing for me. Also, the 005 proves to have some very "valve" type feel to it. It responds very well attackwise, very nice. I personally have found my alternative to VSTs. I would say a good combination is best, but for now I am using the pedal with integrated cab sim only, and its a lot of fun. Using a tubescreamer TS7 with Keeley Mod done to the circuit, it very depends on the guitar also, if the 005 will respond in a rich, harmonic way or let its gain structure either be "destroyed" and washued up by the TS driving it. For me, I'd give 8 - 9 starts out of 10. The cab sim is a bit muddy, but Mooer has plans one releasing kind of an IR pedal, they told me via facebook, asking if the TresCab simulation has different speaker types than the micropreamp have.

Intriguing. While I wouldn't base my sound around one of these, I can see several uses for them as an emergency backup. One of these could easily be a gig saver if your main amp dies. Also, having listened to the cab-sim tone through my stereo, while it's not going to replace a carefully crafted software sim, for a quick-and-dirty "get the idea down" recording, it's perfectly usable...

Think the real potential of these are as an emergency backup for valve amp failure mid gig. Its never gonna sound as good as the real deal (especially at this price point) but if your rig goes down mid gig having a backup on the board that can be quickly activated with a few tweaks might just be a lifesaver, EVEN IF its not an amazing tone

The Two Rock and the ToneKing are on their way to me. Hate to say it guys, but you didn't give these little pedals a fair shake. The direct tones sounded great in my headphones, not to mention the controls save between channels so you can have two distinctly different channels. I'd like to see a mulligan on this video with all controls set to noon and proper tweaking to get tones you like, and maybe a different power amp than the little Victory. Even the on/off channel switching comment was a bit of a flub. If you've got more than one of these, on/off mode makes sense. If you use a pedal looper then channel switching makes sense. Neat pedal idea! Can't wait until mine get here.

I think these sound pretty great for what they are and cost indeed. - A very nice tool to just throw in some sound-shaping that could completely change it up, more so than just a different gain-pedal or equalizer. - It's like a plug-in in a box, and that's not a bad thing if they put in the right chips and programming. - It would be a sham(e) if they were more like 150 Pounds or more, but I think this is pretty cool if you just want a flavor-changer, and you have a couple to choose from. - It would be even cooler if they'd make like a double-trouble version for like 125 Pounds or something.

Why did you have to play on the neck and middle position the whole video when you get mesa/5150 preamps.. sighh
@stuartanthony64095 жыл бұрын
because he had set up the middle position as a lead sound (ie with the bridge pickup selected more than the neck, but inn his case a mixture of the two) and then the neck pickup selector for a rhythm clean sound ... you can do that with three way selectors on a gibbo

The rest of them are at least on the site and they do say what they are trying to be, there is a Diezal,, A Koch Powertone, an AC30, a ToneKing Falcon, an Engl Blackmore and the ones you tried (MESA Boogie, JCM900, 5150, Blues Deluxe). Id be interested in switching between an AC30 and a Diezal or 5150.

They make a mooer IR pedal called the Radar that allows 3rd party IR loading. It also is a power amp with different power amp sims loaded (6L6, EL83/34, the usual culprits) in it and they're bypassable...making is also a standalone IR pedal at the end of your pedal chain.

I'm going with "Assfordable", which is a mixture of Aff and Sh. These pedals sound decent and have a lot of features, but affordable to me usually means cost is low and it does the job without frills.These are more of a high end pedal in a small package. They definitely fill a niche that is pretty bare, but I don't know how many people will want all the functions these pedals do. As a $100 DI that's also a distortion pedal, you could do worse. I'd want a balanced out and a ground lift, though.
