Ah excellent, I definitely think it's better than the WPL C74, that was a very underwhelming rig tbh. I think this MN82 looks better too, less cheap plastic looking than the WPL C74. 👍

With a bit of suspension work and the regular esc/receiver swap out. It would make a good friend for the fcx18 LC80. Or swap out everything from a doner LC80. And it would be an awesome truck.

I don’t think much of the chassis but the body might be popular. Move the steering one notch down the servo arm you might get more throw

Yeah I bought the WPL C54-1 and it rolled if you looked at it wrong and the motor stripped out within half an hour. Comes nowhere near the reliability of the MN82.

Seems perfect to use as a loaner as well. Good for trail runs but not a climber. Adding some weight at the front (in the front bumper) should help crossing roots and such. As for replacing the wheels: What dimensions are the rims and tires? Are there other options available?

Yeah I think better tyres are the main thing. Tbf to it, it wasn't too bad and much better than I expected. I'll check on the wheel and tyre size. 👍

MN's promotional images list the wheel diameter as 62mm with the hubs themselves being 37mm

Nice run mate yes its cheap but it looks great the body is gorgeous imo and yes it handles surprisingly well for a cheap rc i got the red one and ive done a few videos with it it looks great on camera especially for scale type trail videos i think it will work well that all i did was change the tires made a massive difference in the trailing dept over rutts and slippery rocks i got the 68mm dj crawlers with the soft foam insert they are very soft and maliable so they are very easy to slip over the stock wheels on this rig id recommend them for that and are also super cheap in price like 13 dol a set and their very good tires

Thanks very much mate 👍 Yeah tyres are definitely the biggest weak point. For me I'd prefer it with oil filled shocks for nicer suspension movement. For the price it's not bad tbf. 👍

I think that really depends on lots of things, like budget, what you want to use it for, scale or not etc. My advice would be check out some reviews of trucks you like the look of and decide on price. 👍 Got reviews of quite a lot in my Reviews playlist. My top two that I own are my FMS FJ40 and Traxxas TRX4 Defender 👍

Thanks very much 👍 No it's just a throttle rate change on the transmitter, nothing mechanical. It's not like a proper two speed tbh. 👍

@gargermaxpower2408 Yeah that's correct. 👍 Basically the stock electronics are just limiting the throttle, so say one speed is just 75% throttle and then the second speed is 100% throttle. 👍

Metal wheels is the only thing I have gotten for mine. But then I did some trimming, switched back to plastic wheels and fit DJ Crawler 74mm tires.

Its NOT rock crawler but cheap and not so bad SCALE pickup 4x4 model with hard top, opening hood and tail. Use this truck to scaled obstacles! You try to run by roots impossible to run by for real truck.

...nice video and very good explainations. I think, once who don't know mn models, can after your video decide to buy it or not. I can say it's a really nice trai truck for the price. And electronics are much better than the previous models has. Also the quality of the whole car seems solid. But for me it's no comparison to the wpl c74. It is a 1/10 and that's and that's the big difference to the mn 82. I think "sice matters".

I have both and the suspension movement on this is better, it doesn't feel as cheap and the electronics and slow speed control are better too. Plus I think the C74 looks cheaper than this too. If I had to pick, I'd pick this over the C74 hands down. 👍
