@libfit9068
@libfit9068 5 ай бұрын
No he's not #1. Crawford is fighting in a tougher more saturated and competitive weight division. Those tiny weightclasses have less boxers in them. How many full grown men do you even know weigh 108 lbs to 122 lbs. You're hardpressed to go outside and even find a full grown man weighs that little. The 147lbs weight division is far more packed, and its more impressive to be #1 in a larger more competitive pool of boxers. Terence Crawford dismantled a fellow top 5 P4P fighter in a more spectacular fashion than Inoue beat Fulton or Tapales (both of which were not P4P boxers). Therefore Terence Crawford is #1.

I think he's great for the sport and I would love for him to have a "Tiger woods effect" of bringing new people in as fans and participants. Egotistical US boxers or fans are so jaded when it comes to Inoue. He is literally fighting the best in every weight class without tune ups, beating them all and snatching belts left and right 🤦‍♂️ just bc the champions he beat aren’t popular is why they shit on him. Nobody knows those fighters in the lower weight class so wtf can Inoue do? He’s beating the best, no tune ups, and he’s slowly moving up clearing out each division. He’s doing shit that nobody else is doing or has done except manny. I’m going to laugh when the haters start switching up when Inoue beats their favorite fighters at 126, 130 or 135 if he can get that big. I really wouldn’t be surprised if Inoue does what Manny did or even more. Inoue is a lot like Manny but has skills in departments that manny didn’t have like angles, great defense, and masterful footwork. Not saying manny didn’t have those skills, but Inoue looks a little more polished than manny did at that point in his career. Inoue is a mixture of Manny, Floyd, and Loma but with a little more power and speed.

Imo Inoue carried him. He easily could have finished him in rd 5. Tapales was really hurt. Now top fighters will be a little more confident taking a fight with him

Agree, naoya likes to give fans a good show, I think he carried him rounds 5 to 9. Nothing wrong, I like a good show too. Naoya is the best.

全力で倒しにいった5Rで、井上は珍しくバランスを崩していた。そして9R終盤から10Rのミートに徹した様なワン、ツーで倒した。ボクシングは面白い!

Garcia is good but who's the dork doing the interview? Americans never cease to amaze me with their ignorance of the 'outside world'. Tapales, as Garcia pointed out, is a bloody good fighter - beat MJ fair & square, shouldn't have been split. In fact, a better win than Spence for Crawford - Spence not the same fighter since the car smash. Tszyu stops Spence if he goes to 154 - Inoue also stops MJ, imo.

On his weight class, nobody. He'll get his match on a higher weight class but I think he'll end up being too small. Inoue actually looked less agile now. He'll still own his division but he definitely suffered moving up.

Same as manny pacquio, fans says, too small, no power. Wrong 8 times division champion only. He became super welterweight/jr middlewight champion. Inoue has the power, to moved higher weight class 135-maybe 140. He’s young excellent stamina, and very intelligent in the ring.

@@JamesBond-jd8xo Inoue is already 30 years old and still at 122lbs. At 30 years old, Manny knocked-out Ricky Hatton at 140lbs and Miguel Cotto at 147lbs. Inoue I believe can move up, up to 130lbs. and maybe still be competitive. I want to see him fight at 126lbs, but he is not moving up yet.

The Ring and WBA doesnt even have Casimero in the top 10, and WBC has him at #7. Casimero needs to beat an ACTUAL contender for Inoue to even entertain a fight with him.
