Robert is a good soul because the way Chavez Sr was disrespecting him and framing him as a bad guy was pissing me off. They were putting ridiculous pressure on him and Misael despite Omar being the entire reason there was any dispute. You could see Misael came under the rehydration limit the way his cheek bones were showing meanwhile Omar was damn near 190 pounds.

Robert Garcia is an Honest Man, he stated that he got confused sometimes on Kilos and Pounds , same as me I got confusing sometimes on kilos and pounds , as well as Fahrenheit and Celsius. The fight was for one weigh-in the day before. the Mexican city officials wanted a 2 day weight in , one before & 1 after. Yet Mex City has no jurisdiction in that city. Omar Chavez made weight, but he rehydrated. No contract saying about weight at fight night.

Pachuca doesn’t have a commission, they brought in Mexico City with their rules. Common brother, I’m 43, I saw many Chavez fights with my dad and those are some of my best memories but Chavez sr and that entire team is wrong on this one. Blessings 🙏🏽

Robert is the definition of good in the pocket. Even the way he dealt with this situation helps his case for coach of the year. Good coach protecting his fighters. Played it cool as hell the way he knows not to bother going back and forth with Chavez in Mexico either.
