Part 2: • Compton Gang Unit's Ro...
--------
Former Compton PD Gang Unit officer Robert Ladd shared his experiences in law enforcement. Ladd, whose partner Blondie passed away in 2021, came from a construction background before deciding to go into policing. Becoming an officer provided a better income, and, wanting to help people, Ladd joined the force, eventually moving from a reserve role in Garden Grove P.D. to Compton PD in 1983. Over the course of his tenure, Ladd witnessed the crack cocaine epidemic that began in the early 1980s and drastically changed the landscape of Compton; drugs, weapons, and gang violence became omnipresent. By 1988 the crime rates led to the establishment of a three-man gang unit, composed of Ladd, Blondie, and Reggie Wright Sr. They faced a challenging task trying to curb the activities of the 55 gangs operating throughout Compton.

Still say these 3 guys deserve a movie... they were the opposite of gang culture, yet so immersed in it.. the world has always been interested in compton gang life, the mystic of it... and these 3 lived it on a totally different side than all the other movies portrayed

Vlad really becoming staler than 100 day old milk. Ladd has already been on Vlad TWICE already and said the same old tired stuff about "Orlando, Keefe and the Southside Crips" both times he was on here. Ladd then went on Art of Dialogue and REPEATED THE EXACT SAME STUFF he said on Vlad. So now here he is yet again to REPEAT THE EXACT SAME THING HE HAS ALREADY SAID 3 TIMES ALREADY FOR THE 4TH TIME 🤦‍♂️. Hey Vlad get some fresh material or just get another gig at this point. You do the SAME interview 3 times just re-wording the same questions. We ALL got it the first time no need to keep recycling the same washed up material over and over and over again it's corny af.
