Singapore imported "their" durians from their neighbouring country, Malaysia (simply because Singapore doesn't have any land to plant the durian trees locally). Next time, just take a bus or a train or a flight to Malaysia to eat fresh durians straight from its farms or from the local vendors there. No need to go far, you can just go to Johor state which is right next to Singapore. It will taste much, much better with more variety of durians and cost a lot cheaper than Singapore too. 😊👍🏻
