It's been two years since i let go of a soul tie with a narcisst. I can say that i just met and have been spending time with the man of God that I believe is my soulmate . We both agree that we’ve never had moments as enjoyable as what we have. "He has to be educated (some type of degree), he must have a car, live on his OWN, speak well, definitely- has a great job, or his own business, nice looking (a few more adjectives... Or accolades... I can't recollect). My Response (other than being exhausted by her 'desires')... I said, "Whelp! THAT does it for The Law, Prophets, Apostles... & ...Our LORD & Saviour. JESUS 'walked' or rode a donkey, And, when HE wasn't inViting HIMself onto someone's boat, He stayed with his parents. If Isaiah 55 is an accurate description, HE was NOT to be 'desired'. I agree. I feel like this video is speaking to a specific type of broken woman who is not ready for marriage. There are good, well-adjusted, healed and marriage-ready women out there, some who have never been in relationships, some who are even Virgins, who are single as heck!! How does he respond to those women and what have they done wrong? A few things that I am finding helpful. 1. Stop hunting, the man will be introduced to you. You don’t need to search for him. Men value what they find, not what finds them. 2. That said, let your friends, family, co-workers, former classmates, acquaintances, hairdresser and even the mailman know that you are looking for a single, Christian man. Treat it like a job where the more staff you employ to help, the more efficient you will be. 3. Watch the KZbin video, “The Miseducation of the Christian Single Woman,” by Godzdesign. She used to be single then got married last year. She and her friend break down the myth that Christian single women (particularly Black women) have bought into that keeps them single into their 40’s. Meanwhile, other women are getting married left and right. She was introduced to her husband through married friends. 4. Pray for revelation from God about the things you should know about your future husband, future marriage and also if you need to fast. Sometimes the enemy blocks kingdom marriages because they will advance God’s work. Prayer is your first line of defense even before you start letting people know that you are looking. I pray that God will give you the revelation that you seek about your husband and why He is making you wait in this season. Be blessed.

Thank you Bishop Blake’s! As a single woman I see so many marriages that are a result of God’s permissive will rather than His perfect will there is a distinction among the two. I’ve been told by many that I’m picky I respectfully disagree knowing that as a woman we by nature and God’s divine plan place ourselves as a wife into a husband’s hands to lead by God’s grace his family. It is my responsibility while I’m single to properly vet a potential husband. I remember a segment you had where you said it’s important to prove a man before approving him! When I place my life under the leadership of a husband I must make sure that he in turn is under the leadership of God ( not because he is simply a man misguided by societal rules of what manhood is) but rather a man surrendered to God knowing the heavy depth and responsibility that role carries as he is accountable to God for how he leads and so he does so in humility.
