Yea a lot of people don't realize that. I'm from Ocala where they're from and I know Cody, he moved to TN recently but when he still lived here he did worship at my church up until the band made it big, and he still would do worship there whenever they weren't out on tour. This song was very deep and hit home with me, at the time, despite offering forgiveness and seeking repair, she ultimately chose to leave and live a life outside of what I was offering and what God wanted for her life. She was my everything but thankfully with God’s help I’m still rebuilding to this day.

First of all, good to know that you're putting yourself togheter. Keep on! I've never lived this king os situation, but I wonder if people who did and are christians, question God of why this happened. I mean, in the beggining I think that you thought that she was a God's gift to you and in the end, turned out that she wasn't. It must be so confusing.

Bro just because YOU believe that was your god's plan does not mean everyone has to take your word for it. You do not own her and she is free to make her own choices. People fall out of love, move on. Yall all preach humbleness and blah blah but get real pissy when things don't go your way. Learn to respect them as your equal and not a peice of meat to own and maybe one will put up with you. You sound like a man who would just tell them to "Endure". If they are supposed to endure whatever, so can you big man..

My friends aren’t the type to sit down and talk about music meaning like I would want them to so it’s fun to see what different people have to say, especially someone with some strong Christian knowledge. I’d like to hear your take on Metallica’s Fade to Black as it’s one of their more depressing less thrash early songs and my favorite song of all time.
