Roberto Bolle - Apollo

I've listened to a lot of Stravinsky over the years, but never heard "Apollo" all the way through, or seen it danced. As an introduction to the full score and to the ballet, nothing could be better than to see the great Roberto Bolle - so godlike himself! - as the Greek god of music and dance. A marvelous performance.

Brilliant dancers!! I found the orchestra in the background distracting. Would love to see this cast dancing it in front of the traditional traditional blank backdrop.

Wonder who coached him. He does it very ‘dancy’ and at first it’s meant to be heavier and clunkier. I’m sure it’s the way he was taught it
