Best way to get more views is to make a lot of videos . When u see one of those videos do better then all the other ones keep making videos similar to that topic. That’s what I done. If you look at my top viewed videos 9/10 of them are about the same company just different questions or topics similar to that company. Hope that helps !

This is by far the best and most educational KZbin explanation I have seen, and I watched most of them. I had a few big vids, it was supper exciting, I got a vid at 3.2M and one at 2.2M and about 8 videos from 100k-400k I still have no idea how they grow, I do everything similar and then it just happens randomly, it’s so weird, wish I knew what triggers those vids to be suggested by KZbin more.

Hey Roberto, I also use VidIQ and the channel audit VPH got me thinking... Is there a way to measure VPH or view velocity based on a specific video in the first 24/48 hours? Currently, I just add up the numbers on the graph for each day and compare to previous videos, however, I would like to know based on hours (24/48) rather than the actual day. I think this would give us a better understanding on when the best time to post is and how your current video matches up against previous videos. Thanks! Edit: Nvm, you literally just showed it 5 seconds later into the video after I commented. Maybe I should finally make the switch to Studio Beta :P

I have a little unfair advantage because im in a motorcycle club and i do a blog about motorcycle clubs so my social media friends are mostly bikers but i think thats what everybody should do content relevent to there lifestyle i think if you just drop something everyday or 3 times a week your just reaching. Unless your doing like sports or something with constant updates. Im not in a rush to get a million subs im almost at a 1000 and ive only dropped 6 videos im just enjoying the process. I like that you make the point to say the algorithm is not here to hurt creators, as I know that's how I've felt from time to time and my fellow creators talk about it a lot. I don't understand it completely yet, but the best views are STILL from my oldest videos of when I began the channel with over a couple hundred thousand views. My new stuff, still in crafting and jewelry making, just doesn't get the views. I've vastly improved my filming and editing, too. lol. I did notice my #1 oldie video tanked about 3 weeks ago all of a sudden and my #2 oldie took the mantle for getting the majority of views now. Still though...those 2 are the main ones that seem to capture attention. I'm actually ashamed by the bad editing in them, but know if I made them private...I'd never see any traffic afterwards. So, I keep on trying to improve. This was very insightful. Many thanks!

I guess the problem is behind the algorithm. It’s called KZbin policies. They can be misleading to read by a non-human tool, so the algorithm itself. I can give you some examples today in late 2020 if you want.

You are right about diverse content, I made that mistake and in fact got rid of a pile of videos that were not specific to the topic I cover for the last year or so. I'm still a little stuck with a few vids in differing genres because those videos still do ok. Hard to know if I should just drop the older unrelated ones even though they still get good views and if doing that will help me get better response to the newer ones I make. I know you are usually active within the first hour, but I ask this question in hope that you will see it. Something i havent heard anyone talk about in terms of algorithm, is past videos affecting your current videos. In terms of the cussing in those videos, the clickthrough rate, and the audience retention rate and even a different subject matter that gets more clicks and watch time than your current channel content niche. It depends on the audience completely and your delivery aka look at Gary Vee. However in terms of ad revenue you can make 5X more not cursing.
