Hopefully by the time the Performance shows up on the Tesla site, it will be a non launch edition. Purchasing fsd after the sale helps offset the additional sales tax on the vehicle total price.

Not true. Ignoring current discounts to get rid of in stock vehicled, by adding all the extras included in the Launch Edition to a 2024 LR 4WD, you would end up with about the same price.

Just ordered mine in white with black interior then added free tow hitch. Kept the standard wheels because I want the range and comfort. Trading in my 2018 Model 3 AWD with 85k miles - Tesla quoted me $16k for it which is more than Carvana.

A single stalk? That gets us halfway to fixing that flub. Moving the "gear" selection to the screen was fine. Moving lights & wipers to haptic buttons on the wheel was not. "Gear" selection on the screen works because switching between drive, reverse, park & neutral is only done while the car is at rest. What we need is a stalk on the left for lights and a stalk on the right for wipers & washer. Those are functions executed while the vehicle is in motion, and (first principles here) touch screen & haptic controls are not an appropriate choice for controls the driver has to access while the vehicle is in motion. Tactilely identifiable physical controls for those are the only viable option.

When reasonably priced battery swaps is a thing as batteries improve decade over decade itll be okay to go Tesla. Keeping a tesla that degrades battery health is a big hit to people that like to keep their cars 30 years minimum. The carrot on the stick with people with old model s lasting a 1,000,000 miles is not the same as a tesla lasting beyond legendary status 30 years minimum. 2035 we shall see!!

Tesla remind me of iPhone same old product just add a little upgrade that other phones and cars had already and called it a upgrade LOL front and back track light that every car has now and 20 more miles of range and you hike the price up almost 15 grand. for that, I'll get the Audi eq6 just 5 more 5000$ way more range and much better looking inside and out by far.
