I saved up to buy my first Viseart pallette recently. It was a mini so it was only $30 but with taxes and shipping and a new mortgage and a kids it was something I did have to budget for. I have SO MUCH makeup and skincare i vowed to not buy anything until I actually run out of other ones. But I wanted the Viseart Midsommar pallette SO. BADLY. So it was my summer makeup buy. And I dont regret a thing. The colors are gorgeous and they perform amazingly. I'm fair skinned and they're gorgeous but on dark skin they just pull more pink and just look so out of this world PHENOMENAL. I just love it and it was worth every cent. I work in an office and I dont normally a ton of eyeshadow, and when I do it's not crazy cut crease looks or anything. But this fits perfectly in my life. I use all the colors its good for quick applications or more intricate looks. The colors are still muted enough for office wear while looking gorgeous. I love the palette and want all the petit pros. I vowed to not buy anything but even now if I do buy something, I'm buying it because I want it. It's so hard to control impulse buys. I started watching beauty news and Kat and Haileys use it or lose it project panning. I have to use all my makeup. I really wont want to contribute to this worlds waste issue more than I have already.

Thank god I never bought his palettes. I really wanted to buy his blood and jawbreaker palettes but I ended up with the Villian's palette from Colour Pop and a small palette with some reds, Valentine's Day limited edition, from Wet N' Wild, which i do love, btw. So thank god i didn't shell out for the blood and jawbreaker ones. I also bought a limited Edition highlight from Becca called Amethyst that's close to Jeffree's but now I need to find a new one somewhere else. Just for once can there not be drama? Lol! Robert and Wayne are one of the few I enjoy watching, in the make up community, and not have to worry that they have "hidden" faces or pasts. Guess I'm going to the "darker" side, meaning those from the "Goth"-type community. I've seen a few of them who have listed companies that have similar color schemes to Jefree's and they're cheaper but good quality.

I was pretty disappointed in my first J star purchase in 2016. The color of the liquid lipstick wasn't what I thought it would be and the formula was definitely uncomfortable. The bullet lipstick I tried later was really dry and smelled weird. His brand was so powerful, though, that I went ahead and asked for the blood sugar pallet for Christmas, which I still like but it's worth it knowing that money went to such a terrible person

This is not actually related to the video itself but omg Robert, since I started watching your videos Ive become a lot better in doing makeup. I understood the importance of certain products (hmm, eye primer!!!!) and Im learning about how different tèchniques get really different results. I have hooded eyelids so watching all these popular makeup gurus with a huge lid space and exaggerated eyeliner and then not being able to do it myself, no matter how much practice, really made me feel like I wasnt improving. But with you, I can relate a lot more. I now place eyeshadows perfectly for my crease type and I can do different types of eyeliner that all fit my eye shape. I stoped using concealer like crazy and started applying it in an intelligent way. I am super grateful for your tips and tutorials and I hope to keep learning for a long time!!! 💖

Hey, Robert! I agree in PART with the ND palettes. I just bought my first full sized one (well, the smaller, $65 full size) in the Glam palette. I'm a sucker for cool tones. They look amazing against my super fair, cool toned skin, platinum hair and blue eyes. So, while I waffled about buying a bigger palette from her, and which one, the release of that one cemented it for me, and I truly do love it as much as my viseart palettes. But... Before I got that, I bought four of her mini palettes at different stages and I absolutely LOVE them. I want them all now, they're a perfect size for travel and it's easy to mix and match them. My faves are definitely the mini glam and the mini Retro (this one is my most used. Something about the neutral pinks and olive hues just melt me). I highly suggest giving the minis a try before you give up on the brand. The safari palette was widely panned as she had changed the formula on some of the shades. Please please try some of the $25 and $48 ones first. They're really great! Then if you like those, try, say one of the $65 ones like the glam or the love or even the bronze. Those have all had excellent reviews if you like the color schemes. Love ya! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for another great video! I have learned so much from you, it amazes me every time. Speaking about Hourglass - recently after a loong search i found my holy-powder-grail Hourglass Veil translucent setting powder. When it was shown to me in the store i instantly knew that i wouldn't buy any other face powder, despite this one being really pricey. Pure photoshop on your face! Blurs everything so smoothly, i can't describe it. The "dosator" isn't a net, it's just holes, so it's really easy to get some powder out and on the brush. The amount.. it will last forever. My makeup lasts all day without moving an inch and looks flawless. I absolutely advise to try Veil out!

Interesting! I own a few of the recent Natasha Denona palettes and they're amazing. I remember hearing that the safari and the older ones are subpar to her newer ones. I've had no issue with Gold, Sunrise, Love, and Bronze palettes. Tbh I really think youd enjoy the textures and intensity of color from the Bronze Palette
@becm9633 жыл бұрын
My Natasha Denona Biba palette does that on my mirror, too. I store mine in a drawer in my bedroom away from the bathroom on the second floor. I just purchased it during Black Friday. I wonder if it is the cream to powder formula. My ND Glam palette, ND Bronze palette, ND Sunrise, mini nude do not have that at all. I’ve decluttered Sunrise, but it didn’t have that condensation on the mirror.

Thanks for this video, Robert! I watched Soph’s but she’s so nice even about the products she dislikes and I appreciate your bluntness! I hope you make more of these! I deeply regret buying the huda beauty mauve obsessions palette. I’m no expert, but it has the worst eyeshadow formula I’ve personally ever tried. I don’t often struggle with eyeshadow but I could not get that formula to work for me. So much fallout, so little pigment, could not be built up, difficult to blend. But those palettes have such good reviews so I’m confused. Maybe I just got a bad one but I doubt I’ll ever try Huda shadows again because it was such a bad experience.

I've heard from a few different people that the Natasha Denona Safari palette isn't a good one but I never heard of the palettes doing that steam thing that yours do. I recently bought the Mini Glam palette (£22) because I wanted to try the shadows out without having to spend so much right off the bat in case I didn't like them but I loved it, the shimmers in particular were lovely. In regards to Hourglass, I have the Ghost Edit face palette and on my skin the powders look very nice. The bronzer shade works really well and both the blush and highlighters give off a very soft glow. Love you videos so keep em coming!

You're spot on about Viseart - I recently bought the Neutral Mattes 2 Milieu palette and its hands down the best I have used. They apply like a dream, almost effortlessly and the colour saturation is perfect without being heavily overpigmented, as it often the vogue these days with eyeshadow. I have a few Natasha Denona palettes - the midi size is best along with the little mini palettes (Nude is the best one). The Love midi palette is fantastic and I was completely surprised by its quality as I bought it impulsively when it was half price at Selfridges. Bronze and Glam, hmmm, not so sure. They're a bit too full on intense - nothing really wearable for normal day life. The jury is out. I may re-sell those on. And its quite ok to not like everything a brand releases, you're quite right.
