its not hilarious, its fucking atrocious. No way should a ref be given power to deduct or penalize an athlete because of a noise. Even if that noise was sarcasm. Unless the rules specifically state that the player or athlete of a certain sport cannot make loud noises then you can't just go and penalize one for making one.

It still doesn't bother me as much when men do it but I don't really watch this sport so I wouldn't know
