It was a great conversation Paco and Robin Nieverra had. Robin is a great conversationalist that he can be a great host and DJ! You would know he is wellbread, good intellect, speaks with truth, dignity and respect though he was direct and natural. He is attractive and I saw him in EASTWOOD with Zia for Wish, he has good physique! I wish you luck Robin and pray that people would see and recognize your natural talent and be able to connect and accept your genre. I for one at first think your song was oddbuteventually after not able to connect but upon hearing more of your songs, was able to distinguish your songs as for international release. Iwouldgofor the beat of "Blidesided". However, when it comes to looks and hairstyle, it becomes you more when it short or a bit skin head and slight beard. It's not because you should look the way others would want you and perceive, but because it becomes you or suits you. One thing more, be open to change, not because of others but because you want to better off yourself. Good luck Robin and Paco! 😊😊😊 . God bless 🙏🙏🙏

This is very true. Filipinos are so hard to please and very into physical appearance. Promoting tone-deaf angels while letting go of good musicians just because it doesn't suit their eyes. Very good topic you have here. Hope a lot of Pinoys ger to ponder on this. ☺️👍

That's why I don't watch variety shows here in the Philippines. All they sing are the same old "OPM' formula. People can learn to like new styles of music. Sobrang mababaw ang tingin ng mga networks sa taste ng masses. Robin can be a bigger star if given more exposure.

Robin Nievera quoted Jack White asking JImmy Page on IT MIGHT GET LOUD. I remember Eddie Van Halen on one of the interviews he had. EVH said that at the time, he cannot afford the "toys"/ pedals and other gadgets that everybody had. Which was why he had to maximize all the sounds coming out of his Frankenstrat. Robin Nievera stated that it's not about the gear, but it's all about the skill of the Musician. Awesome!

I kinda understand now why robin picked me as the best guitarist on this battle of the band where he was the judge... I was only using a single overdirve pedal at that time and im not even the most technical guitarist that night :)

I'm really old, Martin & Pops first born is already a man! I remember when his parents announced that they're having him, when he was born. An avid viewer of Penthouse Livel. I am a big fan of his parents. A very articulate & talented young man! Philippine music now a days is so superficial.

I’m just one of your band’s fan here in Panabo, Davao del Norte... ‘twas my college days, 1988-1991... because of this ecq, got a lot of time to watch all the 90’s opm bands in youtube... introvoys to eheads... really brought back memories for every song, mapa solid rock o mapa love-rock song, mapa life coach rock song... pinaparinig ko nga sa aking 2 doters hoping they would like to listen, too... to pave the way of remembering me listening to all your /opm music when they’ll be mothers like me in the near future... thanks a lot paco! Still listen to your US gigs! And oh, pls also tell Robin that i’ve got to know her mom Pops in a movie with Sharon...then Pops and Martin’s love story til their marriage... and got so sad when they’d separated.... hehe kahit nga yung sa iyo... but life must go on.... and everybody friends and happy!
