Very often you knock it out of the park Robin but just sometimes….. you knock it into orbit. I absolutely adore when you produce a completely different and original form of motion. This looks fantastic. Already I’m thinking how I can bring it to my carnival and oddities train. Maybe to have an aquarium car with some motion in a fish tank? Or possibly a giant popcorn car and use the motion to make popcorn move up and down in a big popping machine. You’ve certainly got my creative process going so thank you. I do genuinely wonder whether the best of your carriages from the giant cargo train could make up a really interesting ideas submission. And 90 years of Lego style journey through interesting themes and ideas with all different forms of motion. I can’t recall ever seeing anything quite like it and what an amazing way to immortalise your unique and fantastic cargo train. Just a thought

Another great train car build. The shaping of the platforms is a nice variety from the other more traditional designs on the train. I'd consider the Technic Cam (Part 6575) and see if it helps with the noise. I'm not sure if it'll fit or how much it'll change the motion. But if it's moving fast enough you should still see it 'float' and drop. Might make for a smoother rise and a sudden fall.

Maybe if you get the classic space ship, you could build it into an underground research center type area like the Men in Black. Maybe tying into the planned space cantina as an adjacent area- or maybe to go with the older classic part of the theme it could be an uncovered spaceship as an archeological find- maybe on the other side of a wall of a cave being excavated or explored in the ocean? I really like the side mounted horn pieces. The grungy chewed up arials could work well as old ends of pipes for sticking from a dirt wall, maybe with a bit of cutaway space for a plumber to be working on them. Perhaps they could be poking into the planned mine, or have the mine intersect a manhole/sewer section. For the noise, could an old tire or something be stuck on the end of the post and not inhibit the mechanism? The random motion bits look good.
