I really hope you do this show justice, especially the movie. It's one of my favorite anime but it's extremely hard finding good reactions for it, ESPECIALLY for the movie. I was very excited when my formerly favorite reaction channel did a reaction to the movie, thinking I would finally get a good one, only to be disappointed when said reaction channel did the most half-assed reaction I had ever seen, with horrible audio, constant looking at and interacting with the chat rather than experiencing the story, and even cutting out all the best bits that people were specifically looking forward to.

"but there's four of them right!?" My dude, he just said he spent the night playing 4 accounts with his 4 hands and feet. They're so brokenly good at gaming that they each played 2 characters in the tournament, to such expertise that even playing one character that well was seen as "has to be cheating". Also, Sora and Shiro didn't cheating during the initial game. I think the reason Sora is ok with cheating later on is two-fold. 1: His opponent was also cheating, meaning all bets are off. 2: The greater game, the ten pledges, whose rules govern the lesser games, implicitly allows for cheating. Which means that as far as Sora is concerned, it's not really cheating, it's a creative use of the rules. Using loopholes isn't cheating. Also, Sora means "sky" and Shiro means "white"

Man this anime was pretty much my favorite anime for an insanely long time. I only ever got very put off by the amount of fanservice. That's also sadly how the majority of people judged this anime, especially by those who didn't watch it. I fell in love with the ingenuity and amount of thinking you have to do. SO.MANY.MINDGAMES. And I loved that. The color scheme also felt very unique and yet very fitting and so did the OST. Really a shame what happened to it and so we never got more seasons and had a giga omega cliffhanger, so frustrating.

If you played mmo games back then you will enjoy Log Horizon a lot. It's by far the best anime about mmo games that I've seen. It makes me want to go back in time and play more Lineage 2 everytime I watch it ... Animation gets worse with each season, which is pretty sad, but the enjoyment I got from the anime as an old mmo player was superb.

Ecchi is ecchi. The difference between this and Mushoku is that Mushoku uses it for world building and characters, but this one uses it in a really fun way. I still have fond memories of this back in the day. Nowadays, people don't really like ecchi, but I do think there's still a place for it somewhere. I definitely enjoy it as a junk food entertainment kind of thing. Still, it's a good introduction to the weirder sides of anime, I must say.
