video's great, but a few things: 1. just to clarify, angler (and all the varients) are proximity based, so all you need on them is distance. pandy is visual based, so all you need is a visual barrier. this was said in the video but i just want to be clear. 2. dark rooms will never spawn anglers or pandy, which may seem nice--until you realize that means the hiding spot you had might now be 1 door further. 3. anglers can spawn after a certain length of time has passed since you've been in a room, so try and progress quickly. 4. unsure why you disliked heavy containment, it's one of the BEST rooms for this type of run. guaranteed hiding spots when entering and exiting from both anglers AND pandy, as well as huge crossroads, and multiple siderooms in many of the rooms. personally, i despise the window rooms (the ones where eddie loves to spawn), as they literally have 0 hiding spots. (steam rooms actually aren't too bad, as they usually have side places to hide) (read edit). 5. i ALWAYS buy 3 codebreakers at the start of the run, and save them until either i really need them, or to get past the ridge. they are life savers, and only cost 75 kroner for 3 of them. very worth it. 6. something i noticed but i'm not sure about: with stair rooms, if the door is up the stairs, angler sometimes just... flies towards it directly, same with certain rooms with blocked passages, angler just goes through walls. 7. something i can say for certain, if a room has 2 paths (like diamond rooms), and the door is direct opposite, angler favors the left side, and will go that way. edit: thanks to the friendly fire update, the window rooms are now ALSO amazing! constant floor vents is a god send. now the only run killer is sewers. lost my heart for this edit, you bastards better read this

Reminder that winning is entirely based on RNG room chance. You can do everything right and still be killed because near the end, there was only hallways with no safe spots.

I recommend not buying anything from the pre-run shop when doing lockerless. You will die MANY TIMES and you’ll just be wasting money. The game will give you plenty of loot to stock up at Sebastian’s shop. Not to mention that you’ll likely find other items scattered about too.

@@DumbDumbAmour i think there is 4, one is normal one, other is green (chainsmoker) which goes slower so you have to hide when he gets to near your room, the purple one is silent, and the last one which is dark pink, he goes by really fast so you need fast reaction speed.

​@@DumbDumbAmour usually spawns in big open areas, long hallways, vents, and pipes lategame. Also I notice it spawns really awkwardly compared to other Anglers, like it has a seperate timer spawn from the other Anglers. This could just be me tho(i died room 88 after opening a door, turning around and listening for 10 sec, deciding to go through the room, and turning around after 5 sec to stare pinkie dead in the face)

Well i have a small idea for a ridge section or maybe a tip or whatever but this one tike the brown angler was chasing me up a staircase at the ridge but i hid somewhere close to the exit where there was a door, he stopped and then left since he would come back but apparently there should be a way to really go against that guy. It may sound confusing but im trying to figure it out too, 29th attempts the charm, xP
