At the vampire death stage, you didn't see you had vine, and gave it up before using vine after scald to save vampire, but when you scalded before using alien, you then saw you had 5 damage to win.

Target enemy poison does not do the thorns damage. Target damage DOES damage! Target poison DOESN'T do damage

The one side that can hurt Thorns, Spikers and other enemies with On-hit abilities is the Target Enemy 2 Poison

you should get into the habit of picking your levelups BEFORE your "do you wish to reroll [INSERT CHARACTER HERE]" options. That way, if you get offered garbage, your reroll has a chance to hit your recently leveled garbage unit and give you a better one. It will never reroll an un-leveled unit.

I feel like it's hard to pick a best tier 2 red since the good ones are just so similar. I'm happy to get a 2 2-mana sides red, slightly disappointed with fey and priestess and very disappointed with medic and enchanter.

You may not be Doctors biggest fan, I however am. You may be overvalueing spells as docters sides are great. Further there is a strong argument in this comp to get docter as an emergency grey with his shield sides.

doctor is the best t3 red, but i think you're talking about surgeon who is very mid because his spell is useless and all the reds are is mana machines that ideally come with some form of cleanse

It means the side itself does nothing, its just a host for pips/keywords

"Target" Doesn't do anything on its own. It just targets. Thus it allows things like Poisoning without damaging, or cleansing without healing/shielding. Target Damage and Target Shield are exactly the same as if they didnt have target.

if you get an item that gives squared (or any other see colored N as N+ whatever) target damage gets boosted whereas a normal damage side won't.
