This movie seems to have found its following judging by youtube comment sections. I find the original more entertaining, but the 2014 one more interesting. Both are doing their own thing and I'm not going to dunk on it for not replicating the Paul Verhoeven magic specifically. News flash, nobody can replicate Verhoevens magic. Too bad the studio interfered with the rating, they alienated the core audience with that move. It is aging well for me.

This one doesn't even feel like a real robocop.. That's the biggest difference imo.. Real robo has that machine sound whenever he walks and moves.. Like iron man also had that sound in the early films until he went full nano

i grew up with the original one and loved it to bits. That said, objectively, this one is definitely better than the original(s) (tv series, cartoon and comics). I really wished they had a sequel to this.

Most nonsensical scene in the whole movie. Selling the doctor as compassionate and with the creator's syndrome, but then he just operates his brain to be more machine. Would make more sense if he sneaked the opposite or whatever.

Of all the mistakes this remake has done, making Robocop all black has gotta be one of the worst, he looks like a dude in a black spandex suit instead of a super duper advanced cyborg thing.

2:03 PM 8/29/2023 I thought the old school Robocop movies were cool back in the day. I havent seen this one. Because I hate law enforcement. The scenes that are in this movie though are good. I knew it was possible and I like how you portrayed it in the movie. No I dont look at myself as Robocop I would probably shoot myself Id rather be one of the military models they use for combat overseas for civil unrest issues like Albania Rebellion in 1997. Yes I look at myself as a product of "OCP" when I "woke up". I struggled with it too but got back on my feet over the years. If you make a sequel I hope its off this one and I will say this one is probably good. I havent seen this one but I dont think people know what they are watching on tv. For this scene ALEX MURPHY did what WE wanted who cares for the role model image to american people. Thats what this scene is suppose to be its suppose to be some wealthy family that owns corporations making a decision about this compared to EM 208. Murphy beats the EM 208 and theres going to be more models like this in the future.

You either hate law enforcement because you've been told to relentlessly by the powers that be for the last few years, or because you either got pulled over for a broken tail light or busted over a gram of weed or something minor like that. Everyone I know who hates cops hates them for the same petty or nonsensical reasons.
