I regret passing on this thing, even though I'm glad I saved the money. This looks like the *perfect* military vehicle for toy photography, I love how much play it has while still seeming to be sturdy. But even if I had it, I'd never use those tampos. Back, foul stickers! Back, I say! I'm glad it wasn't just me who thought that warning label was for us. So immersive!

Yeah, when I first realized there were decals I had a moment of "Ooo, maybe make it more unique?" but after messing with it I like it just fine as is. I use the stickers somewhere else. And it IS sturdy, I put it through some paces out in the dirt and then posing around, it's solid.

I’ve always subscribed to the notion that the Haslab HISS was the beginning. I am hoping they do tone it down and put it in stores or on their site. Remove the lights, maybe the rockets and hallow out the inside some and I’m sure it could work. I’d love to have one or two more and would be happy with dumb down versions if that’s what it takes. Also, so glad I found your channel, I had missed the last couple weeks cuz I got lost.

I haven’t opened my HISS Tank just yet, I am waiting for the three Fire Team 788 figures to arrive this week so I can pose them with the tank and leave the gunner, driver, tactician and MM Cobra Commander in their packaging. I normally get doubles of everything except for this so I can keep 00-100 MIB and will open everything else because those boxes take up a lot of room…lol (real world problems). Great review, probably the best one so far, also glad you showed me a few things about this so I don’t force/break anything (just wondering if the harness is very durable). Good luck branching out on your own Robo, I already subscribed to your new channel but it will be weird not hearing the Fwoosh intro anymore. As a retired military veteran I always enjoy your videos, good to know you are still going to be providing us with great news/information….Cheers!🎉

I think I’ve watched all the HISS unboxing videos by the community and I can’t get enough of them. I really do hope Hasbro finds a way to get another Classified offering of the HISS for all the fans to enjoy. I think they will. I mean we have at least three more vehicles coming 2024, four if Dragonfly makes it. I still think 2025 for that. So VAMP, Ferret, SMS, and whatever else may scratch the Classified itch for collectors in 2024. The play has just begun. Those ports for the machine guns intrigue me as a port for stands to hold Trubble Bubbles. The HISS is a wonderful piece!

I would say it’s more likely than not that there will be more HISS tank offerings in the future. A considerable amount of engineering went into this tank. I can’t imaging they would throw away the molds.

Yeah, I could imagine a HISS with no lights, no side missiles, etc, either the full vintage style or with just the gull-wing canopy and upgraded tread guards and not the retro ones, and then just one driver. $199? I'd love it if it was $150.

I have watched a few reviews of the H.I.S.S Tank and seems most of them are like why are there two canopy's, why just a plain one? And that's because the plain canopy and side panels are for those who want to give it that retro look. I'd have to go back and forth and display both looks, or if I had two one of each look. Good review.

Considering the amount of investment that they put into the metal dies, the package design, and no doubt other vehicles like the VAMP will see re-releases/reusage of thier molds for future variants, I think it might be mid year 2024 that we will see a Crimson Guard version of this announced, sans the electronics and other extras.

Unfortunately I didn't back this tank when the opportunity was presented, I later purchased two of them online that cost me a small pirate's treasure, and not together separately a few months apart as money 💵 involved was insane well over $500 each!!! Plus 90 dollars shipping through FedEx that my buddy ordered for me and hand delivered them to me from his house as he doesn't have a car and lives several miles from me and took a bus to my house alone with lugging this heavy A** box on his shoulders a good part of the way on and off the bus!!! On both tanks!!! A few months apart!!! I have no car myself I'm in the same situation as him!!! But these Tanks are incredibly cool 😎 Good review on your part!!!

This thing is AWESOME… 1: The figure guns are based off KRISS VECTOR air soft guns 2: The Tactician weapons baggie actually has “100” stamped on it very small. 3. I’d love to see an aftermarket Tripod so the small mini guns on the turret could be lifted off and mounted. 4) 788 team & techno/SMS is gonna look SICK… and turn this from just a murder death kill tank to a playset!

I have the Baroness with the Cobra Coil, my god are the toys big in this series. Where are you expected to display these damn things? I live in an apartment with only so much room. My rant aside, it's a really cool toy. I love that it has actual treads, unlike the original HISS that had wheels on the bottom. Also digging that you can open the canopy & you can put one or 2 figures in there. Hasbro put a lot of thought (apart from the size) into the design of the toys of this series. I just backed the Cobra Rattler. I missed getting that toy as a kid, didn't want that to happen a second time. Just hope it's not colossal, otherwise I'll have to keep it in the box. I'm meh on the Cobra patches, I'd rather have extra battle damage panels like the original toy had.

14:13 You took the words right out of my head. By the way, the "high alert" red light in the back is actually significant, but for a different reason. While it will keep you alert, "red light" does not interfere with your night vision the way that white light does. It allows you to see well enough while also keeping you combat ready.

a great piece! like you I m hoping for a simpler cheaper store version later on. I d totally live with a blue retro style, one driver, main turret and cockpit gun. it d be so easy for Hasbro to cash in with weather versions like arctic and desert. I d pay $120 Can for a cheaper version with one driver only. I thought it d take more than one fig in the back, but it s nice I m not in it at all for a female gunner replica, it looks overdone to me. the tactician is ok, but superfluous too. I used to go for officers in the turret, or high profiles as Scrap iron - Firefly - Bludd. just how many kinds of troops one need? and no reg troopers available breaks my cartoon - scene concept apart. If the do a mainline release version of this, it will probably be without all the options. Like it will have one canopy or the other, one set of tread covers (if any), and no rocket launchers on the side. Plus no electronics and only one driver figure. Also, if they modify the cannon on top to a three-barrel version and make it a light grey instead of black, boom, it's a HISS II. That would likely drop the price in half. $150 vs the $100 for the VAMP with Clutch would make sense to me.

I want to say there's been at least one or a few figures in the Marvel Legends or GI Joe Classified line that have had the boot twist moved down closer to the ankle to make the articulation look less awkward, but i can't remember which figure it was for the life of me. I just hope they continue that trend as the usual method of putting the cut at the thickest part of the calf looks hideous if you dare use it.
