I seriously can't believe how fast robot vacuums are advancing! Very excited about these new flagships from Roborock. Check them out here: Roborock CES 2025: bit.ly/4jg6OpV Saros 10: bit.ly/4jcIxRN Saros 10R: bit.ly/3PARC9j F25: bit.ly/427WAlA

Once you said you could control the arm of the robot.. I know there are going to be some good jokes in that video. Love it!

Can't wait to see the arm grabbing it while the part is under the robot

Tbh if I'm out of the house and working for over 8 hours, I don't care if the robot even takes one hour lol
@michdem10012 күн бұрын
Oh wow. If that arm will support matter, so that I'll be able to tell the robot to pick something up and clean through Home Assistant, that'd be huge. I just hope the matter support is more then just "start/stop cleaning", but would allow for more precise control
@volcolby9 күн бұрын
That arm! That's exactly what I need with my kids leaving stuff everywhere. I should have invented that. Vacuums have never been so cool.
@juffle13 күн бұрын
Alright, how long until the vacuum robot uses its built-in arm to grab a gun and accidentally 'clean up' more than just the floor? We're playing with fire here.😂

I do like the detachable mop piece, but I gotta say the Narwal Flow is what I’ll be buying this summer. The robot arm does nothing for me, but the superior rolling mop head and plumbing integration are huge features Roborock is lagging behind on.
@1990kurder12 күн бұрын
LOL! I'm never gonna be able to buy a new one! I was waiting for the Curve in my area.. NOW it seems I will wait a longere time for these!
@gojeffgordon2413 күн бұрын
The mop brushes on the 10R look nice, but I'm really afraid to see the price on it. We have the S7 and it has worked pretty good for a few years now. Just hoping to not to take out a bank loan to buy one!
@Krahnin13 күн бұрын
Great video! I am confused though, are the Saros 10 and 10R replacing the S8 MaxV Ultra? If they are the next iteration, what is the difference between the 10 and the 10R?
@simongchadwick13 күн бұрын
Right - we need a Roborock genealogy chart, peppered with feature icons.
@SmartHomeSolver13 күн бұрын
Thanks! The Saros 10 has LiDAR with the RetractSense and the mop pad. The Saros 10R has StarSight (solid state LiDAR) and the spinning mops. There are some other minor differences but essentially that's the main difference.

@lankyluke13 күн бұрын
I think they should remove the Vacuum / Mop and this should be paired with a Normal Bin (smart) that it can take rubbish to the bin for you and, take clothes into the dirty washing pile and have a not sure pile. Maybe it could help the Robot Vac if it get stuck and needs help
@jrmbtr13 күн бұрын
Can these new models reach the space under kitchen cabinets?
@SmartHomeSolver13 күн бұрын
I'm not sure how low clearance that is but all these vacuums are 7.98 cm. They are shorter than the QRevo Slim which could easily fit under the cabinets in my living room.
@jrmbtr12 күн бұрын
@@SmartHomeSolver Roger that. I have a S8 Pro Ultra that is mostly good, but was looking at replacing it. Their lineup is a little confusing. I thought I was getting a flagship model it does not feel like it, even last year but especially now.

They still haven't released Matter for their prio generation. Why would they do it for this generation?
@SmartHomeSolver13 күн бұрын
There's a lot of issues that are getting worked out with Matter and some good announcements just got made at CES. There's a really great article explaining it www.theverge.com/2025/1/6/24336570/apple-google-samsung-accept-matter-certification I'm not defending Roborock in any way but hopefully this helps speed things up.

I have a irobot which i'm not too happy with, that i might swap out IF I could find one that doesn't suffer from the same problem the irobot does. This robot gets stuck trying to "offroad" all over my dining room chairs which have bars along the bottom similar to the chairs at 5:35 of this video. I swear, it'll spend so much time going over and over them, getting stuck/unstuck, etc. It really wants to clean that area! But the same darn robot will come up to a high pile rug in my living room (like 5:50) and makes very feeble attempts to get up onto it and vacuum. So aggravating.
@cakekomo12 күн бұрын
Oh, I also need/want it to integrate with HomeAssistant. iRobot doesn't.
