Trust me. You need to kick that habit. It led me to developing candida- or to put it more gruesomely, _bloodyeast._ It made drinking water, physically, feel like downing a glass of sand, and only made me thirstier. Only sugar quenched me whatsoever. I gained alarming weight and itched all over, from head to toe- from anything as simple as sitting up too quickly, to walking up the stairs briskly, to letting out an _angry, frustrated grunt over something._ I used to go to sleep with claw marks from trying to make it stop. It even caused me to develop brain fog. I had to go on a massively harsh ketogenic diet, and I've practically sworn off soda for the rest of my life. Be prepared for a month to a month and a half of hell.
