1. Female character name is Lucy - short of Lucyfer 2. Twardowski is the only man that outsmarted the devil, Boruta. He signed a contract with the devil to give his soul in Rome. Boruta cornered him in a tavern named Rome. On their way to hell Twardowski started to pray and managed to get away and landed on the moon. 3. In Poland we say: "where devil can't manage, send the woman". Devil couldn't so he sent devil woman. It is packed with nuances.

6:58 We can clearly see that they are already far behind with tech since they are introducing computers like 40 years after rest of the world did it ;) So i think they don't want to simply jump to most modern tech but want to do it gradually. In previous episode Twardowsky said something like "middle ages" to describe that hell and the devil is generally backward so i think this is consistent. They use ancient technology as they don't keep up with modern times... And of course older computers were more reliable and looks cool :D

The author of this series is Tomasz Baginski. His short film was nominated for an Oscar (The Cathedral). Bagiński is the producer of "The Witcher" for Netflix. Twardowski is such a stereotypical Polish man - a charmer and a cunning man. Polish women go to heaven during their lifetime because we deal with such Twardowski on a daily basis ;) In my opinion, swearing loses on translations because the Polish language is colorful when it comes to swearing. Only our Slavic Croatian brothers are better at it :)

Jaga is a short of Baba Jaga - one of most known and powerfull witches, popular character in Eastern Europe. She was rummored to live in a house on a chicken leg. In other places, she was the organiser and leader of Sabath - meeting of Witches from all arround the world, which are rumored to have taken place on Łysa Góra. Need to look up 'Dresden Files' series by Jim Butcher to get some inkling why they imagined those oldschool computer systems as one Hell would use. (It's a relatively common trope, but Butcher's writing is one of more vivid examples I've stumbled upon).

There's a lot of Music videos for the songs fewtured in the series (those are covers of original polish hit songs). Thosev MVs show some glimpses from the allegro legendy Universe.

17:45 you did not understand. He did die for real, but earlier he set the program to return soul to his body (it was even shown for a second on the devil's screen). This was basically his plan since he saw that laptop for the first time. This is why he caught their attention by attempting a bigger sin (self pleasure). Otherwise if they did not show up as holograms, he would've frozen to death. Later he used his billionaire skills to turn the situation in his favor and used one of the opportunities he had forseen, and in this case it turned out to be the password. He had divised a plan for multiple possible situations and adapted the one that the opportunity gave him. Genius indeed.

Hi Rob. I believe they used old CRT monitors on purpose to show that Boruta is old style, old fashion devil. And yeah, as you probably picked up already by now - Twardowski did die, but previously mentioned procedure to return soul to a body caused him to resurrect. Literally came back to life. As to part 3 - most likely will never happen. Main Animator - Bagiński is working on the Witcher Netflix TV shit, so no time. Also project Legendy Polskie by Allegro was considered finished/closed. As to legend itself it has few different endings depending on the source. One says that when devil was outwitted by Twardowski so many times he cancelled the deal just so he doesn't have to deal with Twardowski anymore, as it was such a pain in the a##. Other one says that Twardowski sent his wife in his stead to keep devil a company for a year. But devil was so annoyed by her that he sent her back and cancelled the deal. Hence old Polish saying: Where devil can not, he will send a woman.

I think You didn't quite understood. He did died in space, clearly, but before that set procedure to send soul back to body (like Boruta mentioned before they can send soul to hell or send back to body in case some VIP would die)

It is worth noting that Polish Legends were filmed many years ago and published on KZbin by Polish multimedia specialists. And it was realized at a very high level for such a small budget. It's safe to say that after all these years, few people are able to repeat it today, apart from the very modern script of Polish Legend, made as a continuation and not as a spoiling of the old version of something good, as is sometimes the case in Hollywood productions. Recognition and a bow to the creators whom, unfortunately, you did not appreciate by name... ;)

Twardowsy messed up security systems in Hell, and that;s why Baba Yaga escaped, and also the Basilisk ;) (I recommend the Basilisk be next to watch). As to Twardosky himself- he DID die, but he made the system return his soul "back to body". And at the end that demoness is lying on the Twardowsky's space ship's roof top...

He DID die that is why ship was powered again. He just resurected himself with a delay.

The set also includes covers with short videos that complement the plot.

In this film, every detail is important, certain details are visible only to people living in Poland and knowing the local specifics. However, the old-school computer and monitor are also intentional - they emphasize that Hell symbolizes something old, in a sense primitive - the Middle Ages. That's why the devil's computer on his desk can't be the latest iMac. :-)

fun fact the witcher hearts of stone characters Olgierd von Everec and Gaunter O'Dimm (Master Mirror or Man of Glass) are loosely based on Twardowski legend In fact, if I remember correctly, you can survive in a vacuum for about 2 minutes before the internal damage is too great to save you

The final song is a cover of a classic from the 80's that was sung by a brilliant singer Zdzisława Sośnicka. I highly recommend the original, Rob. This episode of the Polish Legends by Allegro series is my fav. I don't think they've made next episode of Twardowsky.
