Gwyneth Paltrow does a great cover of the 80's hit "Bette Davis Eyes" that is also featured in the film "Duets" that others have mentioned. She has an underrated talent at singing and wish she had continued to dabble in making music - but never say never - maybe she'll drop a song in the future? The original Smokey version of "Cruisin'" is a true chill vibe! I'd also suggest The Rascals "It's A Beautiful Morning" for another laid back track! Love y'all - keep smiling!!

Huey has a great voice and is just awesome. Lol, I'm 48 and we had records and cassette tapes when I was growing up. I wore out some tapes. The 8 tracks were coming to an end when I was a little girl. I learned to dance to the Bee Gees and the Beach Boys, but my mom had a huge variety of music that she introduced me to. And she came to like ZZ Top too which I think surprised my brothers. But they like a lot of metal, which doesn't impress me much.

Even in the 70s we would cruise just like in American Graffiti. I choose that comparison because American Graffiti was filmed where I grew up. My high school gym Tam High) was used for the dance scene. Some of my classmates were extras, including Kathleen Quinlan. The streets used un the cruise scenes we cruised I can't tell you how many times. 4th St. San Rafael and Petaluma Blvd. Petaluma. No cassettes yet. Just the radio, and AM radio at that. Yeeeeeah. Those were our days of thunder and our right of passage.

Not only their voices but their whole father/daughter charisma in the movie here just meld so well together. (Probably every little girl's dream if you watch them together here.) I grew up watching movies with Gwyneth Paltrow in them & NEVER KNEW she could sing, & MAN can she SING!! It is CRIMINAL that she was not in more movies where she could show off her vocal talents too. I would love to buy a DVD of Gwyneth Paltrow performing these sorts of songs as they seem PERFECT for her voice - (& she is very good with her cover of Bette Davis Eyes too.)
