Between Infinity War with the "Mr. Stark, I don't feel so good" and "I don't wanna go..." and then in this when he's trying to talk to May as she's dying, man is Tom Holland great at playing a scared, heartbroken kid who doesn't know what to do.

IIRC I think they timed the release of the last episode of Hawkeye (when the Rockefeller center Christmas tree comes down) so that it was a few days after this film opened (where it was still standing when Peter swings by it at the end).

Another cool detail they brought back from the original Spider-Man movie is that Willem Dafoe uses fake teeth when playing Norman Osbourne, but when he becomes the Goblin he has his natural teeth.

I never imagined back in 2019 after watching Endgame that we would get the other 2 Spiderman to enter the MCU after all these years if Peter 2 and 3 were there they would also be swinging with Peter 1 in that group shot but imagine their reaction with seeing a Raccoon, a sentient tree, a literal giant man, and the Norse god Thor

Some people were annoyed Ned could use the Sling Ring because he wasn't "special." People forget there's a whole school of ordinary people learning their sorcery. Even Strange is an ordinary person just with an amazing memory.

Ned uses chaos magic and becomes the antagonist Hobgoblin in the comics. I felt they were setting up in the future he will try to kill Peter.

You mentioned Toby's face when he stopped Peter from killing Osborn. No. The best face and likely the best scene in the movie was when Garfield caught MJ from the fall. The range of emotions that play across his face go from relief, to redemption to grief in a couple of seconds. Kudos to Andrew.

Technically, Norman and the Goblin are two different personalities, two different persons inhabiting the same body. So if you kill the body, they both die. And while it is true that Goblin killed May, the real Norman never would have done that. So to save him, using the cure really was the only option.

to be honest, many say it's Endgame for them or Iron Man 1 but this is genuinely my favorite Marvel movie. It was perfectly written from start to finish and they reaaally pulled it off with getting all the actors back for this which is of course MASSIVE fan service but it wasn't just fan service in order to be fan service to get people in the theaters but it actually made sense for the story and was just epic (not like a certain other movie that turned out to be a massive disappointment all the way through) . Seeing this at the theaters was definitely the best cinema experience I've ever had, everyone was so hype and the athmosphere with everyone was just crazy!

Also, Doctor Strange's "I've been dangling over the grand canyon for 12 hours!" line is totally a callback/payback for what he did to Loki back in Thor: Ragnarok. "I have been falling... FOR 30 MINUTES!!!"

the ending when he jumps out his new apartment window and webs across that skating rink and big tree, thats the big tree and ice rink from hawkeye show finale. so spider-man was around during that time of the show.

Alot of comic book fans complained that MCU Spiderman wasn't Spiderman. He was Iron Man Jr. But at the end of this movie, Peter goes back to basics. So the trilogy is basically one long origin story.

Yeah, after all, those 'fans' definitely seem to realize that Spider-Man has literally over a million different backstories, so HOW DARE THEY actually have one using Iron Man and the incredible bond that RDJ and Tom Holland had, right? That's totally not Spider-Man, lol. Sorry, to me that argument has always felt so narowminded and dumb. After all, if it was him using some of Tony's tech, that he literally from day one then adjusts to his own needs, and in the second one makes his own suit, just from Stark tech, then I guess the ENTIRE MCU is made up of not actual Marvel characters, but Iron Man Jr's?

@@HIPsteHeero Tom Holland's MCU Spidey made absolute sense in the setting, and setting this trilogy up as a back to basics origin story was genius. I loved the journey. There's always room for different stories in such vast storytelling universes. Just like Andor being my favourite Star Wars thing ever, doesn't mean all of Star Wars needs to be like it. Every facet of that far away galaxy has a place. Andor had quality storytelling, acting and aesthetic. The fact it didn't have light sabers or Jedi was a non-issue.

Although, please keep the Andor stuff at a minimum, as the hope is that we'll still get Rob and Trin on the full Star Wars journey eventually other than the Skywalker saga and Rogue One that they've seen xD But yes, Andor is an absolute masterpiece if you ask me And I absolutely ADORED the relationships between both RDJ and Tom and therefore Tony and Peter in the MCU.

This movie really was a masterpiece, Andrew saving MJ was the best redemption arc ever, you could really see it in his face how broken his face was about saving her considering he couldn't save Gwen. Aunt Mays death really was heartbreaking, she was to hot to die 😭😭. All the fight scenes were perfect, Tobey, Doc Ock, Norman, Electro, all amazing to see again, even Sandman and Doctor Conners too......Also the ending with Eddie, Rob seemed a little confused, Eddie went back to his universe but a little part of venom stayed in Tom universe, so who knows what will happen next.... DUN DUN DUNNNNN haha 😂😂😂😂

Now you understand why we put so much emphasis on watching the other 5 Spider-Man movies first :D. Electro's outfit in the final battle is way more comic Unfortunately, they could not get Thomas Haden Church (Sandman) back for this movie due to scheduling conflicts so everything was CGI, or re-used footage from the other movies. Nice job picking up on the Miles Morales reference from Electro. Willem Dafoe only agreed to do this movie if he could do most of the stunts on his own. Yes that was the multiverse splitting. The outlines of characters were other Spider-Man villains from the comics. Just to make sure its clear, everyone knows Spider-Man exists. People know of a Peter Parker,. But nobody knows Peter Parker is Spider-Man, theres no connection.

They don't just randomly watch things, the mods make sure they have exactly what they need before watching something. People spamming them to watch something, is only frustrating to them and gives away more than they should know beforehand.

@@Berto2K That's because most of the work we do is behind the scenes that no one needs to really know about unless specifically pointed out. Which it has in some videos in the intros or outros. And when they have mentioned multiple times how they have a specific order to watch in, which granted is mostly release order, but we also only give them only a number of upcoming titles, so they don't know what is coming up after those, as they prefer to go in as fresh and blind as possible I usually also don't really prefer to have people figure out for themselves I'm a mod, but since you asked, I didn't want to lie either xD

As for your next side project for the future of the MCU i can advise you to watch the X-men movies and some Wolverine movies as they are marvel to and the MCU got the rights from fox like 5 years ago.

There's only one day in the week of recording every single day, most of them multiple things, that is Marvel oriented as they prefer to keep as much variation as possible so there's something for everyone. So at the same time is not really an option, not consistently anyway

We never saw Uncle Ben die in this universe. He was mentioned in Civil War. This Peter never had the "With great power..." speech/moment with Uncle Ben. Aunt May gave that to him (us). Heartbreaking that she had to go but, she fulfilled Spider-Man lore by saying those words to Peter when he really needed to hear them.
