Robyn Hood review of Season 1 Episode 3 for Director X Canadian Robin Hood show. This week Robyn faces off against Guy Gisborne with the crew of criminals where it's difficult to even know who to root for. But after getting out of trouble by the skin of their teeth, they decide to double down and commit more crime, what heroes! But this episode is almost, or more funny than episode 1. At this point I'm not sure if it's intentional, or just out of sheer delusion, but whatever it is, it makes an incredibly fun show to review. But what did you think of what you saw? Let me know your thoughts down below and as always, thanks for watching :)

A humorous thing nobody seems to grasp is that Canada has no native black culture. Almost all blacks moved there or were born from immigrants to there in the last 50 years. There is no native urban black culture so this movie not only steals the English folk tale, it steals the modern American urban black culture too. Canadians, no matter the race, are always the latest to the party.

To be fair, phone and internet use can be tracked. Not that the police are competent in the show, but IRL if they suspect a criminal lives in an apartment they could perform a records request of incoming and outgoing data to see who has done suspicious searches or sent incriminating messages. Or, you know, uploaded a song to KZbin. And even if they use a VPN, they can tell who is using one or not and narrow it down that way.

I find this show pretty fascinating myself honestly. It's a pretty accurate to how a certain, very vocal, group of people view the world. This show can only really be understood from the perspective of those who believe that black people were victimized generations ago, so are entitled to do whatever they want, and society should pretty much be lionizing and serving them and punished for not doing this. If your not on board with ideas like that, and by association that the law exists to oppress them by stopping such a situation like that, your not going to get this kind of take on Robyn Hood who seems to be pretty much being entirely anti-societal and is fighting for freedom only in the sense of how the law and social standards apparently shouldn't apply to black people and imposing any kind of order on them is wrong. That said the show's failure does demonstrate that there just isn't many people holding this view. Black people in general haven't really shown up for it, as shows have been carried by a primarily black audience before. What's more almost every piece of feedback I see from anyone is entirely negative. As much as Director X might want to stick to his delusional believe that it's racist nerds crashing the show and review bombing, the simple truth is that if that was the case the viewership would be much higher, and you'd see more general pushback coming from people other than him and other media people. Trying to look at this from outside the box, I'm not sure how anyone could try and make a defense of anything going on in this. Perhaps the greatest mystery of this show is how the music sections tend to be so absolutely horrible. While Hip Hop is not my music style of choice (I'm a metal head, and mostly a fan of groups like Sabaton, Within Temptation, Nightwish, and even more nerdy groups like Gloryhammer and Grail Knights.... I'm sure you get the idea) I do understand it and can appreciate a fair bit of it despite it not being my general preference. This is absolutely horrendous by anyone's standards. DirectorX is mostly famous for being a music video director, everything else he has done has failed, his successes were making videos for some of the greatest acts within that style, since this being about a marauding hip hop band is a key plot point, and they keep going out of their way to do the music and such, I cant see how he is failing so epically at the one thing he is supposed to actually be good at and have a good eye/ear for. I would expect Robyn Hood to be one of those terrible shows that somehow has a really catchy sound track, regardless of the kind of music, but in reality this is an auditory war crime. I mean is there even anyone out there who is a major fan of this kind of music who thinks any of this is good?

I've always been a metal head (I was pretty much raised on Sabbath,Deep Purple, etc.),but growing up in the 80s and 90s I also listened to a lot of rap and hip hop,and I can say with no arrogance that this show's music sucks sh!+. It's quite telling as to Director eXcrement's lack of talent, that he can't even cobble together a decent hip hop score for this garbage show;but then again two of my favorite hip hop soundtracks are from the movies Judgement Night(seriously f!@$in awesome!) and Ghost Dog:The Way Of The Samurai.

And of course resorts to stealing to fix her mostly petty issues, she's promiscuous af and the show makes it clear she empties her jar of condoms regularly, her sister slams her for being such a--- happy go lucky open legs, and in a few minutes after meting a guy she says "how big is it?" this is the worst kind of stereotype they could have gone with, but even so the show isn't being bashed for it, insane. While everything else seems hilariously bad, the little map Little John put together to brief the plan was actual shockingly realistic. He's in the military, as a medic he's probably on the lower-to-mid enlisted ranks...and that's exactly how those level units (squads and platoons) brief their plans. Simple little terrain tables using whatever they have handy. It's so good, in fact, I assume someone on the set must have some kind of military experience (although there's no way they'd actually have a dedicated military advisor).

👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽A good writer takes criticism and uses it to correct mistakes, learn what to do and what not to do based on said criticism, then create a better story. Those with an unteachable spirit, a too-big ego, and no personal character or class … do none of those things. 😬
