I get what they’re saying about this being experimental, but honestly, Roc has always given us some experimental, off-kilter sounds. “Didn’t Know”, “Wee Ill”, “Peru”, “Gunsense”, “Herringbone”, “Pimp Arrest”, “CVS”, “Saks Fifth”, “The Sauce”... “Thug’s Prayer 2”, “I Shot the King”.... he’s far from staying stagnant in one style or sound; just amazing.

Great review!! Imma huge Roc fan and to be honest, at first I wasn't feeling this album at first. Took me a few listens before I really got it. But I agree with myke, he was definitely experimenting with the production on this album, not that that's a bad thing. But overall, I really do like this album a lot. Downtown 81, Pimps Don't Wear Rabbits, Eye of Whorus, Wicked Days, and Mt Marci are my standout tracks.

The verses were great but the song in itself was the weakest of the CD. The beat wasn't that good and went on too long without variation. The album is one of the best this year though. The way Roc was singing on some of the tracks like Steel Vagina, it definitely sounded like he experimented, immaculate track. Boadway Billy, Wicked Days and Mt. Marci complete was favourite tracks. He always does that shit when he drops a late album that fucks up your aoty top lmao, same as YOD.
