Dead End Hip Hop

Күн бұрын

Roc Marciano has released a new album, Marci Beaucoup. The New York native's third album, this one is entirely self-produced. Considering his masterful work on his first two releases, one can expect original loops that serve as perfect canvases for street rhymes and Roc's spacey flow. Check out our thoughts on this project.

Roc is so slept on my God it’s a shame... Marci Beaucoup is a compilation album 100%, this isn’t a solo project, can’t be compared to any of his actual albums in that sense, I like how y’all review albums that’s never get any pub... Rosebud pt.1 is dope and Rosebud pt.2 is dope as well just got the pre-cop yesterday... 3.5/5 so far after only 3 listens... DEHH keep it up much love..

jambajuice89 Freddie Gibbs, even tho I didn't fuck with ESGN as much as his other projects. I've also been wanting to hear a Gibbs/Marcy song badly for a couple years. It might finally happen too, both guys have projects coming out with Alchemist this year, both guys were on Alchemists last EP and worked with Madlib recently.. Kinda surprised the collab hasn't already happened

I love Roc Marci and KA but im not feeling his last two tapes Pimpire was too smooth for i like Roc on his gutter shit. and this one felt rushed. KA is similar but his music sounds darker and quieter even more monotone . They both take a min to really get into but when you get in the right zone it's amazing. It took me 2 years to get into Marcberg. You gotta play them while your on the bus in the morning looking out the window its perfect

Love Roc Marciano and I can listen to this throughout but I feel it almost too experimental. Less is more sometimes though. Lyrically you need to have him be audible and just have the production take a back seat. Reloaded flowed incredibly nicely. This was just more of a compilation. Either way I messes with this. Not his best work but definitely dope.

Roc Mariciano need to put in drums in his beats. All the songs I heard from him, I just hear loops with no drums or the drums are part of the samples which are looped which still are barely audible. Best track I heard from him was from a beat produced by 14kt called "Live From Pimpstead"
