Didn't keep up with Candlebox throughout the years but my older brother and I used to listen to 'ST' and 'Lucy' back when. Still throw those on from time to time. Just saw Jerry Cantrell a few weeks back. So good. Appreciate these throwback guests 🤘🥃

In ‘95 we were cruising to Candlebox in the 5.0 Mustang. There was no whiskey, just pitchers of beer at the NCO club. Damn good times.

Great interview Fred. Funny, among listening to Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice In Chain in the 90s there was always Candlebox at times, especially when hanging with the ladies. Cheers!!!

Fred, I must be just about the same age as you. Totally with you on that highschool tale… Candlebox and …also- Blind Melon were helpful on that front.

I have to hand it to Candlebox for keeping true to their sound. Their newer stuff is a lot like the old stuff, which is awesome. Some bands from that era (looking at you Pearl Jam) lost their sound and lost me as a fan. I've seen Candlebox 5 or 6 times live. They are still awesome in my book.

I cant stand the smell of whiskey... but i do like it with Coca-Cola. B it jack n come or crown n coke. Dont need nothin else bc it works n if it works it aint broke n if it aint broke ya dont need to fix it....
