The Rock Island Armory RIA 5.0E is a VERY interesting pistol. It's like a cross between a CZ, a 2011 and a Glock, kinda... It has a square barrel and a totally uniques operating system. It's a BIG hand gun and it has very little recoil and it is a total blast to shoot! Seriously, I wish I had brought more ammo to the range. The RIA 5.0E has a great trigger and is very controllable. FYI-there’s a Holosun comp and a Holosun comp Ronin version, there two different models Haha 😂 yet you forgot to explain the differences. Definitely jealous you got to shoot it!! Lol I’d imagine if it’s for sale it’s $1,500 or so.

Yeah. I didn't really explain the difference between the two 507 Comp models, but I was more concerned with the pistol, but that optic is really nice, too! MSRP on the 5.oE is $1,988, so I bet you're correct about retail price being closer to $1,500.

This one seemed great! I knew there were issues with the initial release, but this seems to be an updated version, hence the E (enhanced, I think?).

The square barrel is from an early 1900’s design by browning, I think? It was an ingenious design but hard to manufacture apparently. Hence it dying off, until now Lol

It is a great pistol. I haven't really looked into holsters. I used a holster that I had for an M&P 2.0 full-size with a Streamlight TLR-1 HL light and it kind of worked because I put the same light on this gun, but it definitely wasn't a perfect fit.
